Hi: So I am sort of interested in the car.........However, I wish I could see pictures of the whole rear hatch with the seats all folded down.

Long story short is I am semi retired and I cannot take advantage of the tax credit at least this year as my income and tax liability is low. ..... HOWEVER, Hyundai for example is doing a credit rebate for those that are leasing. Hyundai owns the car on a 2020 Kona EV lease for example so they can pass on the $7500 Federal Tax Credit to the dealer and in turn they can pass it onto the customer. I cannot find anything about if this is possible with Ford. In theory it can be done but as a practical matter will they do this. I know Hyundai can do this as I just got an e mail from Burns Hyundai in Marlton NJ explaining the federal tax credit for their cars and the tax credit lease rebate.

Also Ford has always had X Plan and I believe A plan and Z plan for employees as well and I know from what I have read Ford buyers can use these for the Mach E. Can anybody confirm this....Years ago I heard of Ford employees sharing their X Plans with "friends and family" . They get to use the discount 2 times a year and X Plan is like 2% under MSRP. and can be used by friends...........Does anyone here have X Plan; would they be willing to share a PIN number? Also one dealer told me Ford is not allowing mark ups over MSRP...

The Mustang Mach E will have a modified X plan. You can get your own PIN by signing up for the Mustang Club. Also it seems some of the lease plans will allow the credit to be applied to the monthly payment. There are several threads in here about this.

Well on the other thread that I just found here the Administrator and others are posting that the Mach E Ford lease will somehow list the named lessee as the "owner' almost like he or she is financing the car so they can get the tax credit on the "lease" which is the opposite that I hoped for.
Is the Mustang Club here or is it on the internet as "Mustang Club"

Finally the Admn. posted that the "lease" payments will be much higher than a normal lease as they are listing the residual quite low to protect themselves in a falling used market. Not sure I understand that one.

I don't think anyone knows for sure. There was another thread discussing other possibilities:

You may not be old enough, but if you happen to be over 59 1/2 and have money in an IRA or 401(k), one option to consider would be to take a distribution to create enough taxable income to generate a $7500 federal income tax liability.

Not that @dbsb3233 is giving tax advice, but that sounds like free money to me.
