If not in a single thread, then we're more likely to have the same review posted several times in different threads.
Honestly, I think that's more likely in a single 50 page thread. A thread that grows fast is the hardest thing to find something in. Which is why this video has showed up in 3 different spots today already.

But as a separate thread in a forum category, it's easier to browse the titles to see if a video is already posted. That's what the title index helps do.

Not that duplicates won't happen anyway. It's really just about making it easier for a poster to do a quick look for it somewhere first.

What I'm really getting at is that there is little to gain from analyzing one-off range displays from others who don't drive the same way or in the same places as we do.
I get that, and I partially agree. It's still highly variable.

But at the same time, range is still a very important factor for comparing one BEV to another, and for trying to determine whether it's even close enough to consider a BEV at all. So we still need real-life averages to make projections from. And as I've always contended, I think consumers would be best served if that number centered around high-speed distance driving, which is where range matters the most for most people (if driving distances where you do multiple charges in a day, that's naturally gonna be high-speed highway).

Thus why we obsess about range calculations at 70 MPH and such.

theog.ho showing off Intelligent Range. (And of course, how useless 99.9% of the lookAtTheRangeICalculatedFromThisStaticImage discussions have been.)
