I noticed they have a dimple (starting 9/23) on the charging door and took out the set/close trunk button on the left side of the hatch. You can set it with the middle hatch button. There's a blank panel where the button used to be. I think people have said kick to open works now.

I find it easier to open by pushing closer to the middle of the door vs where the dimple is located. Besides, I think it’ll look like a dent in an otherwise clean side view.

I kind of miss the dimple since my Focus EV had it.

I dont have any problems opening the door, now closing is a different story on my Job 1 2022 that I traded in for the Job 1 2023.

Tesla quality
My gaps on the fender to door are equally as bad on my 22 Premium. When my MME is parked next to my Prius the quality both interior wise and hardware on the door panels are sooooooooooooo much better on the Prius it ain't even funny.

Since the 70's, Ford has always had subpar build quality IMO. I was hoping that the MME's would be better than the cheap crap like the Focus etc. but I was wrong. Don't get me wrong, I do like driving the MME but it is cheap crap in comparison of what it should be.

I have a 2023 Job 2 MME Premium and I do not have the dimple on my charge door.

Kick to open is not an option on the 2023.5 builds.

hasn't been my experience with my two maches, build quality is as good as my alfa giulia was. panel fit, excellent, paint excellent.

Every Ford I have ever owned has been of poorer build quality than the Honda's and Toyota vehicles that I have owned. I own a Driving School and have multiple vehicles with some being on loan while others that I have purchased and the Mach E (even though I like it) is subpar from the Honda and Toyota vehicles that I have had. I am not sure about Alfa Romeo vehicles as I have never owned one but they may be in line with Ford and that may explain the little difference in the two?

Take it with a grain of salt, but when I googled build quality for the Alfa, this is the first thing that showed up.

Are there some poor build quality Honda and Toyotas? The short answer is yes. They are not perfect either but they (in my personal experience) are MUCH better. ;)
