Besides @timbop, 305 sounds like a freeway somewhere. 315 does not ;)
There is a 405 in the Seattle area (and in LA), and there is a 205 in the Portland area. They could build a 305 in Sacramento perhaps. :rolleyes:

All, my Route 1 went "to plant" yesterday, and today I have a window sticker. Of significant interest is that it doesn't say "do not ship", and it HAS the section on fuel economy and range (305mi) filled in. It not as good as I hoped the Aero wheels would give it, but that is probably due to Ford's conservative fudge factor on the dyno.

At least they broke 100 MPGe with this one. I'm not at all upset with my 90 (ER AWD) as I plan to "enjoy" driving this car any way. I have however grown accustomed to seeing numbers into the 120's and 130's on my monthly efficiency reports.

Interesting. Only seen that on the pre-production units. Strange to see that on a customer car. Anyone else on here have that on their Monroney label?

It was on mine before the EPA data was available. It's been updated, of course.

And you still may see 120s and 130s depending on your driving. I hope so. It also puts efficiency at just shy of 3.5 mi/kWh.

Agreed. I'm used to there being a 4 to the left of the decimal however. Definitely not a deal breaker. It says to me the car is meant to be fun and isn't trying to be anything else. I came to grips with that when I was still considering the i-Pace.

I have an FE and my window sticker says 90. Not sure how to translate that in terms of a full charge.

Same here. We stay at 4+ most of the time in our Leaf.

Range =270 miles
Usable battery = 88 kWh
Rated efficiency = 3.07 mi/kWh

YMMV - literally

MPGe is a rating that is meant to compare the cost of fueling EV's and ICE in a meaningful way that customers are used to. Our FE's are rated at 90 MPGe (96 city/84 hwy), but you could get more or less depending on how you drive the same as in an ICE. The number that Mark and I are discussing is a rating unique to EV's that most manufacturers use to show average and instantaneous efficiency. It's Miles/KWH, meaning how many miles you could go on 1 kilowatt hour. Since your electric bill is billed in KWH's, it helps you think in terms of how many miles your charging costs you. If your average is 3.5 miles/KWH and you put in 20KWH's of energy (about $2.00 where I live), you've put 70 miles of range on the car during that charging session.

Remember I declared the range 315 mi / 88kwh, so the efficiency is just shy of 3.6!

Exactly! It is intentionally not a slave to aerodynamics, but is intended to be sexy and fun to drive.
