If you can get the car to charge for long periods, then yes that would keep the 12V battery charged up. 12V only charges while car is on, or when HVB is actively charging.
So my charging practice is ok sounds. I plug in every night schedule to charge from 11 pm to 5 am, but to my surprise when I went to ford site as you linked on another thread the LVB soc was only 79% last night. I guess it’s because it isn’t turned on long enough during the daily driving.

So I had another failed update and tried the blower method again. The battery is charging EXTREMELY slow. I've had it on for about 6 hours blowing 7 and the SoC went from 64% to only 77%. Is this normal?

What is the blower method? I had the 24-PU0102-CHG-SUFX fail 4 times last night. So I did take the car for a 6 miles drive. After that, it worked.

Did you remember to leave the key fob in the vehicle? That makes a difference. Also set blower to 5 instead of 7 for less amp draw.

What is the blower method?

Yeah the fob is in there and I now set it at 5, but it’s still only charging like 1% an hour.

Yeah that's normal when the charge has reached the top end. I should probably check your VIN and make sure the battery isn't failing though (DM me).

EDIT: Likely failing 12V battery (45% health).

Okay, so the install worked, and it's saying I'll have another update tonight. Doing the blower method again, and this time I unplugged the mag charger holder thing I have and it's charging a lot faster. That must've been the culprit.

i am having the same problem as you with this update. Did you just keep trying and then it worked?

Is there anyway to see the health of your 12v battery? I am having the same issues with this update and I tried all your 12v battery charging tips.

Send me your VIN so I can take a look what the problem is.

@MachLee, if you don’t mind checking my battery health too. I charged the 12v overnight to 85% and got the update to install, but this is the second time in 2 months that I have to do so. Sending my vin again.
