I mean yes, if you open a normal door and then close it on your hand, it will also pinch your hand.
And pinching your fingers would essentially require you to actively pull on the door to retract the piston, then close it without moving your hand out of the way. That seems almost impossible to do unintentionally.

I can easily see kids and even adults doing it. You don't have to open that door that much before the post retracts (from the video I have seen) so I can easily see people opening it up not take their hand away and then close it. Now how hard they close it is another matter.

After all there is the thought that the front cargo area had to have a divider added so people don't get trapped in there.

It's surprising and amazing how many 'almost impossible' and 'unintentional' crazily-stupid things each of my kids did when they were young ... :)

Side note, first review I've seen that described you can LOCK the doors from the outside by touching them. He describes the screen as "quick to respond" so the confusion on that topic continues.
I think it just depends on if the reviewers got an early test car example or a newer one that's closer to the production version. IIRC, @trutolife27 said that TFL's MME AWD SR is an older tester and has a buggy head unit.

It's the battery has to warm up aspect of it or it damages the battery of a tesla. Not waiting for the battery to condition itself. More on this info will be out soon.
Wait, what? All batteries hate being charged in the cold, regardless of make or model.

"More info" on Tesla not charging in the cold that hasn't come out in the last 8 years including sales to customers in literally Arctic climates in Norway who haven't figured out their car doesn't charge up there yet?

The temperature at which any battery will tolerate charging is not universally constant.
Both the Mach-E and a Tesla can be "charged" at 14F. But the Tesla will first use some of the energy to warm the battery to above 32F before it begins charging. The Mach-E has a lower minimum temperature and will actually begin charging at 14F, even before it's warmed.
It's just a different design.

We know this... how? I'm not arguing, I'm just saying that my old Ford PHEV would charge immediately in any temperature too - but that was because it *couldn't* warm itself up, not because the chemistry was magical, and it had huge battery degradation in the time I owned it. Heating the battery up might not be a chemistry thing, might not be required at all, but might be a warranty avoidance strategy at Tesla - we have no way to know, and therefore no reason to suspect the cars we haven't even yet bought are better.

From all the reviews I've seen the only ones who didn't describe the infotainment system with a"quick to rewspond" comment where TFL. Also we found another Pony in the door of the trunk light great.
