That's what I'm thinking, too. Plus there are too many remotely accessible functions. I might want remote start, you might want frunk open, etc. They probably realized no one will use these fobs. Did someone buy this car today?
That is assuming they normally take x-plan. Assuming they do, you could probably talk them into x-plan + ADM instead of MSRP + ADM... which would maybe be $4000 instead of $5000 over MSRP?I have misunderstood the x-plan. I thought if they take it, they have to take it for all.
There will hundreds of cancelled orders. Probably 200 from the Mach-Drop alone.
Thanks. I have one on order that should come off the line next week. Hopefully it’s quick to deliver.Good luck getting your hands on one OSU. I’m feeling better with my space white order and working through a dealer who agreed to X-Plan and all other rebates being passed through without ADM. I’m impatient, but prob best to just wait. If it takes them too long, maybe I’ll just pass and go straight to a Cybertruck. Will say I was also impressed with how the car felt though. Doors and everything felt more substantial and nice finish than my Model 3 by a good amount.
X-Plan fixes the vehicle selling price. They can't mark up the vehicle itself and accept an X-Plan sale on it at the same time. What they CAN try to do though is dealer add on markup such as floor mats, underbody spray, nitrogen filled tires, tinting, PPF, etc. That is assuming they normally take x-plan. Nah. The perfect trip is to my house, with that Grabber Blue!Sounds like the perfect first trip with a new car to me.
Wait, are those two different key fobs for the same car?Key is parts bin for sure. And no remote start from the key
Do you have an MCL citation for that? Pre-COVID, I'd drive through areas without power after a storm to get to work, and the gas stations would be closed due to not having power. When we had the great northeast power blackout back in 2003 ... stations couldn't pump without electricity. My state (Michigan) subsequently passed a law that all gas stations are required to have a backup power generator to allow gas pumps to work in the event of a power disaster.
you're welcome!during the 2003 blackout!

And, that's still fresh in my mind. I think most of us are old farts here, though, and there aren't too many that were wearing diapers during the 2003 blackout!
Wow! For some reason the start of that blackout sticks out in my mind as clear as it happened yesterday. Not sure why I remember that...you're welcome!

I was pulling up to a specific intersection close to my dealer after picking up my '95 Mustang GT Convertible from the dealership service department when all the power went out and the traffic signals went out. That's a quick way to know who knows the rules for that case. Luckily that one I was going up to was one of only two between me and my destination. (*)Wow! Was exiting the freeway on my way home waiting at a stop light. The lights winked out, the radio station I was listening to wigged out for a few seconds. I noticed that between there and my house all of the stop lights were out and the radio station kept updating the list of places without power. Every update was further East: Detroit, Toledo, Cleveland, Pittsburgh...
Of course that was a good 10 years before I started driving a BEV LOL.
jerk. (*)and here the person is.
