This entire week, I used unbridled mode; first time trying it properly. Yep, I am a fan of it. Will probably use it for a while now.
I did not notice any excess reduction in my power/charging/miles, from going back and forth to work this week. Honestly, I feel as if, I had more miles than usual, when I got home. But, it could just be my mind playing tricks on me, a sort of placebo of sorts.

Next up, 1PD. This should interesting. I hated it when I first received the car, and only tried it for probably a minute!

I’ve been on unbridle with 1 pedal since day 1.
When people kept speculating about range difference in all the modes, I did an experiment over 4 day from my work to home. It’s a 15 mile drive. I used whisper and unbridle, with and without 1 pedal. The difference was negligible.

I only drive in Unbridled/2PD. Unbridled is too soft and the steering is over-assisted for me. I would like to see some adjustability in the shock and power steering profiles. IDC about the regeneration rate, since that can be controlled by the pedals. ??

I tried 1PD several times. Not for me. ?‍♂?

I only use 1PD. In fact, that's one feature I wanted to make sure was available on the Mache when I ordered it in 2020. Hope you like it when you try it again. Takes a little practice to get it to stop where you want (vs stopping too far from the vehicle in front of you) and to get it pretty smooth, but worth it.

Unbridled quickly became the norm when I recently acquired the Mach-E.
But 1Pd is only for urban assault or stop&go conditions, for the way my brain processes. So I am 2pd most of the time in my native rural setting.

with both maches I've had I've only driven unbridled from day one. I did give 1pd a try a couple times, just didn't like it, felt like I was giving up too much input into driving the car

I throw my car into corners almost as fast as my ICE Mustang.
I’m accused of taking corners too fast. But I know for a fact it’s better to accelerate through cornering. People erroneously think the force of the turn will throw the car outside the curve and hit the brakes. In fact the centripetal force is toward the inside of the curve and its best to accelerate, within safe speed if course.

Me too, on longer trips I will use Engaged as it does make a difference for me, not in reality, but I drive more 'normally' in Engaged than I do in Unbridled, which seems to conserve energy ?

It took me days to get used to 1PD, and now I think it is the best option on any EV.
I once posted if anyone new what the three driving modes actually do.
There are definately small differences, but what does each mode do other than what they state in the manual?

Brake to the apex and accelerate out.
