Ford has been very boastful about their manufacturing prowess, yet Ford sure seems to have a difficult time delivering on that. It seems many of the November builds are stuck, perhaps in some kind of QC hold?

Regarding the charging profile, agreed, I’ve seen three tests and they were all miserable.
With your normal negative a usually. Stuck lol, nothing over QC. Normal standards. The f-150 is being gone over to make sure perfect. Not sending them out with problems. Assumptions are normal for you, yes we all see the same each time from you.

Regarding the charging, we have seen 3 on pre production models. There fixed it for you.

I guess it's perfectly normal then for Ford to provide their customers an ETA delivery date of 1/1/90.
no more like ETA is an ETA with any and all. Nothing sits in stone. Some things are out of people's hands. Not like this was a normal year.
And it's normal for anyone to make the eta anytime.
Hey, I'll be over in around 15 minutes. Why the hell are you 20 minutes late. well, there was a wreck and had to go the long way around. SEE ETA. but some hormones have people upset with not right perfect. "screams the made girlfriend" or some just hear to find negative in anything.

Conspiracy theories run amok.
what are you talking about .. there is a known issue with the charging curve .. I only ask a question about what is being done about it and why all the cars built in November not already in customers hands .. don’t spin this if you don’t have an answer to my question, someone here may know what’s actually going on.

Your'e going to see a lot of "refused" deliveries. I think the dealers are keeping the orders open even when a customer cancels months in advance.
My dealer couldn’t/wouldn’t change my order so I “canceled” it and they refunded me my deposit. They didn’t cancel the order with Ford though so I still see it in my orders when I login.

Ah, okay, except that the ETA provide by Ford is 21 years in the past.
Where does Ford do that? If you are talking about the tracker, that's extracting internal data that Ford doesn't present to the user. A member of the Forum found it and is not meant for consumer consumption. Another example of more information causes more complaints.

My ETA switched from 31-December-2020 this morning to 01-January-1990 just a few hours ago! What really hurts, though, is my car was built on 30-October.

This.

Delve past consumer interface information and you're bound to get information that you don't understand.

This answers the question about the charging curve:
Regarding the charging, we have seen 3 on pre production models. There fixed it for you.
COVID answers your question about deliveries. Hardly a day goes by where you don't see a story about delivery delays of everything from appliances to Karo syrup. Of course maybe it's just that I've experienced this several times -- for example, the mattress I ordered six months ago will supposedly be delivered tomorrow after five delivery dates were cancelled due to transportation issues.

Give it a break @First Edition. You are looking at a date visible to you in a hack. It's great for us but it isn't official. Has Ford sent you an email telling you the delivery date will be in 1990?

Except there was an ETA in the future three days ago and three weeks ago. It doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence.
It’s a placeholder, nothing more. There’s a pandemic ongoing. Manpower levels at many logistics companies are at 50%. Believe it or not, everyone wants your car to be delivered as soon as possible. Odds are though, that currently they don’t know just when that will be because of logistics issues. Hence the placeholder date.

I guess you don't visit this forum often @Electric Fusion . There were hundreds of posts over the last 2 months, including many from Ford employees and insiders, that talked about OKTB delays, then the transport difficulties since then. Ford's priority is first on quality control before shipping to cut down on warranty costs and customer dissatisfaction. The factory kept building cars and when approved to ship, the rail cars were in short supply, as were the transportation workers. It is often problematic to get timely shipping of many items over the holidays, particularly with the pandemic in the mix. Many here are expecting their cars delivered to their dealers in the next few weeks.
