As it has the 19" wheels I imagine it is the premium or just maybe they are not intended to be color coded as it looks a little odd color coded on the site pictures as you still have black lower trim sections on the sides and rear.
Maybe it has something to do with RWD vs AWD. You could also be right in that they aren’t supposed to be color coded.

Have som really juicy information about the door handles, but think I will let you guys wait until the release. One clue: no physical key with the car
I hope it’s more than an app. Tesla had an app outage recently that left owners who did not bring their physical key, locked out of their car.

Yeah that could be a deal breaker right there some of use have to use work assigned phones during the work day due to security reasons so there better be another option, that is hopefully better than the key card you get from tesla.

Fords are all pretty much keyless now anyway and you just leave it in your pocket.

Will think personal pass code for your car, like on your phone. Not completely sure but thats my guess
Edit: The car itself will have personal digit code on the car to both unlock it and to turn it on I believe.

There’s no orange color listed at https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...ed-edition-mach-e-8-other-standard-colors.47/

Could this just Rapid Red but with the white balance really off?
When cars are photographed most pros want it pretty flat as reflections all over the place from the studio lights are not good. They sometimes even get a matt polish applied to them. The final photos will look good once color corrected and processed so I wouldn't trust what is probably a quick phone snap. As stated it will be the Rapid Red.

I did see Phone as a Key (PAAK) on the features list on Ford’s website. However, I thought that was a supplement to a physical key.

Guess we will find out, at present I just walk up to my focus pull the handle to open the door and push the start button and drive off. At the other end I close the door tap the side of the handle and walk away.

It doesn't get much simpler than that I see that there is a power button on the interior shots from the site so hope that there is a normal method. I had also assumed the PAAK was a supplement. There has to be as key of sorts as your not going to give your phone to a vallet.

Replacing the standard key with a credit card sized key like a tesla is fine if as long as it is not as clunky as it is in a tesla model 3

Hmm my first thought, Oh dear clear tail lights the rear looks bad, like the front. Like the interior, red stitching on seats so must be a first edition.

I personally love the clear tail lights and think the entire car looks great in the latest set of pics. Better Than the earlier looks from the Ford website.

The new pics answer the question about the door handle. I’d still like to see a solid side profile pic.

I’m not huge on how the center console floats and doesn’t connect to the dashboard. I know it’s to give space, but it just looks on the cheap side (in my opinion).

I wonder how tall that guy is. He looks awfully cramped in the back seat.

I wouldn't worry about the clear tails. My bet this is a EU version, just like with the S550.

I think these latest pics look MUCH better than the first leak. It looks less bulbous and awkward.

Maybe as the clears look terrible on the euro mustangs, then again I am not a fan of red turn signals either if we get all red in the USA.

The rear I imagine is going to be one of those you either love it or hate it things, the overall shape of the hatch is fine. As a design cue attempting at add mustang inspired lights just doesn't work for me.

However it is also probably very body color dependent, would need to see it what it looks like in another color, besides I don't see them when driving and I will just have to make sure to reverse into parking spots lol
