Ordered my car and had to wait 11 months for it to arrive. Was on chip hold for about 5 months. Ordered 4/26/21, delivered 3/16/22.

54,200 miles as of this morning. HVBJB failed twice, have an issue where Blue Cruise phantom brakes, esp when there is a tall vehicle to the left of my car that the dealer hasn't really been able to figure out, but I drive in the left lane mostly so.......whatever. Was stuck on updates for almost a year, finally started getting some a few months ago, but still haven't gotten much.

Love the car so much, still so much fun to drive!

21 Premium 2WD ER with 45k miles here. Recently had the 12V die on me, but between this forum and YouTube, it wasn't that big of a deal. I had planned to get a new one put in at my 50k service. I took the 3-year BlueCruise for $600, and hope to eventually see one of the many newer versions I've read about on here, as I'm still on version 1. I extended my warranty to 100k, and will either keep the car until then or possibly trade it in for a new model in '26 or '27 (whenever they redo the center display tech).

While I like the improvements announced for the '25 year, I will say that when I borrowed a loaner premium '24 from my dealership I was surprised how many corners had been cut since my '21 was built. Black plastic "mustang" branding in the driver's door lip, no large trunk button on the lift gate, no park assist and hands-free lift gate I knew about already, but the others seemed like they would only save pennies and made the experience quite a bit "less" in my opinion.

The only changes I've made to the car are the little "mach-e" branded door lock covers and brake/acceleration pedal covers as well as a 15" rear wiper blade to replace the aging stock one.
Getting rid of the metal scuff plates was stupid. They should have at least offered them through Ford Parts as a dealer installed accessory (and made illuminated ones for extra “bling”)

Here is a Job1 Premium AWD from Spain.

I bought it in May 2021 and received it in December 2021.

I currently have 60,000km and have had the following problems:

- Steering column change 3 times (made noise when moving the steering wheel)
- Front engine change (at 30,000km)
- Right front axle change (at 25,000km)
- HBVJB, the first at 17,000km and the second at 53,000km
- I'm currently waiting since August, the air circulation fan, and the door retainer (clack clack)

Regarding the software, I'm not happy either. In Europe we are about 6-8 months behind the US versions.

I also don't have BlueCruise (I have it enabled with FDRS, but Ford doesn't enable it in FordPass).

Problems I continue to have:
- At home the trunk opens by itself at night, I think it's PaaK's problem...
- Waiting for parts I mentioned before to repair.

If it doesn't fix the software issue, I probably won't buy another Mach-E

This is a thread for the founding Mach E owners who took a chance and bought a 2021. I’m not including those who recently snagged a 21 on the used market.

I’m just curious… how many of us are left on this forum? Check in, please!

I have been an almost daily visitor to this board since shortly before I bought my First Edition. But in the last few months, my interest has waned. I just don’t get much useful information here anymore. Most of the posts seem to be noobs (no offense - I was once a noob, too) that I find repetitive and tedious.

I’ve lost interest in discussion about software updates which have been shelved indefinitely for my vehicle.

This is nothing against buyers of more recent models, btw. Hope you all enjoy your newer purchases. It’s just that for me, even though I plan to keep my car for several more years, my participation on this board is nearing the end of its useful life.
Still loving our Premium Extended AWD. Had lost of issues but persevered through them and have an extended warranty. 45934 miles on our way to 100,000+. Planning, like you, on keeping it for a long time.

2021 MME GTPE ordered August 2020 and drove it off the lot 1-21-2022. Normal failures and maintenance. We will use it more for trips when we receive our charging adapter. Now at 20,000 miles.

I'm still here, but I traded my '21 Premium for a '23 GTPE earlier this year. I still check in here quite often as there is a lot of useful information posted.

‘21 Premium AWD SR. Ordered June ‘21, built November ‘21, delivered February ‘22. Still here. Not as often now but regularly in the early days of ownership. The knowledgeable people who share freely here are an enormous help and this forum is still the first place I go when my MME does something I don’t understand. A little less exciting now, granted, but I’m still grateful.

I'm still driving my 2021 Job 1.5 that I bought in July '21. My four year Options balloon payment is due in less than a year. I might turn it in for a '25 model at that point. It will depend on what kind of deal is available at that time.

How do you suggest I start updating manually via FDRS, any hints on how to get started? Like a paper showing the process and what I need to purchase. I am fairly good at technical challenges, an Electrical Engineer by trade. Any help would be appreciated. Joe

I'm still here.... 42k miles on my '21 now. mechanically fine.

software is 'problematic' with the occasional pop-up of 'drive mode unavailable', and a few blips in the front-camera. I do not intend to ever use BlueCruise, so that really doesn't bother me.

I turned off OTA auto-updates more than a year ago because I am so un-impressed with @Ford Motor Company software version release management.... and happy with the decision since I have no interest in any of the 'enhancements' I have seen in release notes, and really happy to have dodged a few buggy OTAs.

Besides the front camera co-axial connection being stupidly fragile, the only other niggling PIA is that my tail-lights seem to have loosened up inside the hatch, and rattle around a bit. I haven't taken the time to figure out how to pull the interior trim off the hatch to get a look yet.

On the positive side, I am happy with my mods to enable 12v export V2L with loads up to 2000watts, and of course the addition of receiver for bike rack and utility trailer.

Also very happy with performance in snow/ice, with the exception of odd behavior from the front sensor when it gets frozen over with snow/slush... and the huge amount of slush spray that enters from wheel wells and sits on the belly pan under the frunk until it melts out all over the garage floor.

Got mine in june 21, now just over 100K km without any hw issues. In the beginning some sw issues, but these gremlins are all gone. It's a company lease and considering to lease a Mustang Mach-e again. It's a SR RWD and proofed to be very reliable.
