I am not sure if I am the second owner on this forum, but maybe the first in California. :)

I reserved my FE the second day it was available, waited patiently, and it arrived in Northern California yesterday. Apologies for the few pics, I was focused on testing the vehicle, inspecting it and making sure it met my expectations. In short, it DID!

The car drives amazingly well. Excellent feedback, comfortable, yet firm suspension, and overall great driving experience. The fit and finish is exceptional, and much better than I expected. This is not your father's Ford. The seats are extremely comfortable too.

I really like the carbonized grey color. Looks clean, matches the red accents really well. Grabber blue is nice in person too, but I prefer the grey (personal preference)

I bought the car at Marin County Ford in Novato, California. They also have a Grabber Blue FE for sale and test driving. The previous owner cancelled their order, so if you are in the market give them a ring!

More info to come once I can take more photos and test the vehicle more. I picked the car up late last night, so not an ideal time for pics.

@CaGuy I'm wondering 3 things that I haven't seen anywhere else:

1) what comes up on the screen when you put the vehicle in reverse...do you get both reverse cam AND the 360 view at the same time or do you have to actively engage the 360 view separately? I'm really hoping you get both, like I do in my current Bolt.

2) Does the guage cluster smaller screen display any radio/Spotify/XM metadata or is all that only on the large screen?

3) Do any of the buttons on the steering wheel cycle through your XM presents when in XM mode and songs if listening to Spotify or other music via Android Auto/Apple CarPlay? I ask because I tested a car recently where the buttons on the steering wheel just advanced the channel 1 channel at a time (like going from channel 2 to 3 to 4 to 5 etc) as opposed to presets and it kinda drove me nuts =)

Thanks!

Cool. Interested to see if you run across any mention of opening the front compartment via the door pillar keypad. Service Manual says that feature exists but I don't see anything about how to program that yet. Maybe you will run across it when you set up your PIN numbers?
Its disabled in US MachE's.

On 1) Yes, both pop up on the screen. Freaky to watch the 360 camera view live...
2) No radio on the smaller screen that I have seen. One thing I do like on the small screen is the speed limit.
3) Haven't tested this yet...

That's nice. Doe the current speed indicator change color based on if you are below or over speed limit? Like blue below and orange above...red if +10 mph over? (if so, mine would be mostly red)

Not sure if you have young children but do you know how much room the front passenger had with a rear facing infant seat? This is likely a deciding factor (leg room). The model y is awesome. Other crossovers not so much. Knee room is fine but the floorboard is too small and therefore your thighs have no support so the knees ache.

Yes, iOS updates seem to FUBAR FordPass. Best to reinstall Fordpass and see if that helps. Don't ask, lol.
So the Android version is actually the good one?? Oh my. That doesn't bode well.

I spent about an hour with the car at one of the tour stops a few months ago. I am confident a rear facing carseat will yield plenty of front passenger space. See here for my review:

The speed indicator doesn't change. Thankfully.

Is there an option to warn you in some way if your speed exceeds the set threshhold? Or is that really just for when you're using the adaptive cruise control?

yes: it's the "Significant Other in the Passenger Seat" option.

that might just be an option for me though. ?‍♀

I have that option in all my cars when she’s there. No off switch either.

Here is a simpler listing...basically plug and play access without using a credit card or phone.

EFFORTLESS PLUG & CHARGE
Automatically activate charging by simply plugging into a participating public charging station – eliminating the need to use smartphones or credit cards.
Ford Mustang Mach-E I just received my Mach-E First Edition (in California)! Screenshot_20210127-131848
Thanks for the detail! Looks like if you want P&C, you have to subscribe to the Ford Pass. That's about the only feature it offers over just a native subscription to the charger network itself. If it's cheap, and I mean REAL cheap I guess it might be worth it, we'll have to see I guess when the trial expires

You can try a muzzle or duct tape. Warning, attempts to do so may be hazardous to your health.
