Doesn’t help with how short the cables are but noticed you said you plugged the adapter onto the cable first and the manual that came with mine specifically said to attach the adapter to the car first and then plug the cable into it. Not sure how much that matters but that’s how I’ve been doing...

I don’t have the free option to extend. My free 3 month trial ends 2/25 so I’ll be on the lookout for it. Def not paying $500 for it, but will use it here and there if it’s free.

Having to repeatedly turn on recirculate on the hvac so as to not be asphyxiated by car exhaust while in traffic. It keeps defaulting to pull in outside air every few minutes and I live in Texas, land of stinky gas and diesel vehicles.
