I’m in the same boat, I have the GT reserved, however, as it gets closer to 70k, the Rivian looks more attractive. It also qualifies for Section 179 tax right off for business purposes, which would drop the price below the Mach E.
What is your proof that Tesla is the efficiency leader? From what I’ve read they take advantage of an option to use a higher percentage when computing their mileage. Other manufacturers don’t, thus the 20-30% real world discrepancies in testing. Plus the use light frames, which Ford will...
It’s probably due to heavier frame on the Mach E. What is the weight difference between the two? Also, since the Y is full of Mattel hard plastic and tape from Walmart, it’s probably lighter there as well.

I’m not a fan of how the page is laid out and I’m not feeling the cuv though. It looks nice, just boring. 42k after...
I’ve driven the X and the whY, wasn’t impressed with the whY’s looks, handling(u definitely feel the weight of the batteries unlike driving the I-Pace which handles like a cat), autopilot stopped me 15 feet in front of the car in front of me (embarrassing) in city traffic and tried to drive me...
Of course, AM hasn’t died yet. FM is going the way of MTV, full of useless yacking and ads, with the occasional song thrown in. It’s streaming music or AM for intellectual discussions you won’t hear on MSM that is mostly geared to the attention deficit crowd.

Lidar! Mach E has it, Teslas don’t. The new E-TRON doesn’t either. Chevy Super cruise uses it. The next E-TRON will. Everyone except Elon and a few companies that don’t sell Lidar insists that Lidar is necessary for Level 3-5 Driving Automation. Lidar has been miniaturized to a slim beer...

So molten salt based batteries, like ambri’s would be the best choice IMO for H2G, I’m not sure I would use my expensive li-ion car battery to make a couple bucks a day in V2G even if my utility allowed it.
Molten salt batteries are much more efficient than traditional batteries and do not degrade at all when used, last 25 years, and are far cheaper. They are bigger and heavier, but you just stick them in the container outside your garage, they don’t care about the heat or cold either. See...
The way I looked at it, generator is 5k to install and buy, plus you get 26% off as it is considered alternative energy device, then you have to service, maintain, fill the propane tank. So it’s about 3k for the quasar wallbox after rebate. I am also looking a yousolar.com for battery storage...
