Not sure, but I think our issue is actually with the charge port assembly. We have an early build from 2021, Premium AWD ER, and other people on this forum needed the charge point replaced. Similar to them, stepping my home charger (Grizzl-E classic) down to 32A seems to be an effective...
We're going through this too, with our 2021 Premium AWD ER. I made a service appointment for it. 32 Amp isn't a bad workaround for the time being - even with a long commute, we're still fully recharging overnight.
I don't know if anyone else has seen this, but ever since this Power Up installed on 4\3, my Mach E stops charging randomly at home. It goes to amber on the charging ring lights. Re-seating the connector seems to clear it temporarily, but a few hours later it happens again. Has anyone else seen...
It is very rare for auto models in general to undergo major changes in just 1 year. I'd guess almost nothing that more than cosmetic. I thought I read somewhere that the parking brake pawl will go away at some point in the future for a slight weight improvement, but I doubt that will be very...
Are you seriously trying to argue Ford doesn't publish the EPA range of the MME? It's literally plastered all over the Ford US website, and probably hundreds of others.
Intentional ignorance and lack of research is also something that should be called out. You didn't even bother learning how the WLTP standard works before you made a very large purchase. 30 minutes on this forum would have taught you everything you needed to know and more.
And guess what...
I don't blame Ford. This is straight up operator error at this point. This topic has been beaten to death in so many threads on so many forums.
By now if you don't know the difference between WLTP and EPA, and between those regulatory ranges and an onboard system like a GOM, you really...
My recollection is that the S550 had a really weak color palette when it launched as well. Then they added more color over time as the model aged. I bet Ford is planning to drop more interesting colors as the MME ages in order to maintain interest. Unfortunately for us, MME demand has been...
I agree that people's desire to have things RIGHT NOW will probably be the biggest obstacle. In the pandemic, people got used to limited travel, so waiting a few months for a new car (and potentially having to share or go without in the interim) wasn't so bad. People whose leases were ending...
That's such a childish and dangerous attitude. We teach kids not to "narc" and then they grow up to be adults who are hesitant to report things that are legitimately dangerous, illegal, or harmful. Reporting bad things that need to change doesn't make someone a tattletale or busybody.
