    I'm in the same boat and haven't received my adapter or an email acknowledging shipment. Just checked my order status and now it says December.

    I had a similar experience, last week, from Beach Ford Mobile Service in Myrtle Beach, SC. They came to my house in North Myrtle Beach and did the same updates. He didn't connect to the 12 volt battery, he plugged my car into my Juicebox which unknowingly caused the update to fail several times...
