I posted a final update to my experience with the "scheduled charge did not begin" error I was having here:

Long story short, they ended up replacing the...
FINAL UPDATE: Okay, after 4 trips to the dealer the issues has, supposedly, been corrected. It seems to have been a part failure (charge port) and I don't know if a software update just make the car more sensitive to the issue or if this was a coincidental failure. Either way, it took 3 trips to...
I am using a Chargepoint Home Flex that was set to 50A for the last year, comfortably delivering 48A to my car until around the time of the BlueCruise update. Since then, it times out pretty quickly unless I have it set to below 30A. I've been using it with zero errors at 24A since this whole...
Update: I was finally able to get a Ford engineer involved with the dealership, and decided to take the car in for a third time in the hopes that they would actually be able to confirm there was a problem with L2 charging above 30A. After only a few hours I got a call saying they found a problem...

Here's a quick update with a healthy sanity check baked in. I just spoke with a Ford engineer on a 3-way call with the BEV team's customer service, and he confirmed that the Mach-E can charge at up to 48A. He also confirmed what we understood, in that the delivered current can be higher, and...
Yeah but this is the one that I had better experiences with. The other one is way closer to my house but has been even worse (just flat out refused to schedule the glass recall work).
I can look into plugshare listings. The dealership was not able to replicate the issue because their chargers are all 20-30A per the service rep I was dealing with. My charger works great at 30A right now but the car cuts off charging if I go above that.
So I'm wondering what the next steps are. Just keep calling Ford until I get through to a BEV specialist? I'm currently being ghosted by the customer service person who was handling my case so maybe I'll reach out to the Ford account here to see what they suggest.
I should also note I started a case with Ford but it's been crickets from them regarding my multiple requests to get engineers involved. As of right note cannot get this reduced charging performance acknowledged by Ford, let alone resolved.
I've mentioned some of my experiences with the "scheduled charging did not begin" error I've been getting after the BlueCruise update in the thread dedicated to that topic. Well, after taking the car to the dealership for the second time, I've been told that the car isn't rated for 48A, only...
Just as a quick update, Ford has not corrected this issue with me. I had a chat with the BEV team who punted to the dealership, but speaking to the dealership has gotten me nowhere. They said charging happened just fine on their level 2 chargers, but also conceded that the voltage was likely...
I just wanted to add my experience to those who have already posted. I started having this same issue after the BlueCruise update, with my level 2 Chargepoint Home Flex suddenly unable to charge my car for more than 15 minutes before stopping. I could charge all the way using the mobile charger...
