It gets OTA updates. The SR Model 3 does not get AP, software capped range of 220 miles, and loses two speakers. Otherwise it’s the same car as the SR+.

I’d agree that the responsiveness appears “ok” and not great in the video. You can see visible stuttering between menus. Still plenty of time to optimize the software though.
