Agree with above (live in Colorado) and use 1PD all winter for going on my 3rd winter in a MachE. I do find using Whisper mode seems to be best in the snow as it reduces risk of breaking traction when accelerating and braking (regen less aggressive).
This has to be one of the best most upbeat threads! I do love this forum. I don't post much anymore (two years into my ownership of my GT...and 2 months into owning a Lightning...my wife took my MachE :cool:).

Bought mine in 2021 and have had the HVJB failure. But I would still have bought one even if I knew then what I know now. Just would have sprung for the GT performance over the GT for the better suspension.

Thanks for the callout on the vote. Too bad I cannot vote twice for two HVJB (one pre one post recall software…got to experience SSN brickage and SVS). Next week into the shop for the front camera failure cable replacement…I miss BC and adaptive cruise.

Just want to report I have the same hit and miss problems for many months. Especially at home when car and phone are on the same Wi-Fi. Frustrating to never be sure if the changes take or not. Even the top level button shows the time like it took. I usually have to turn off and on departure...
I would vote no, a precondition button is not needed if departure times worked effectively. No need for a precondition now button if the departure times actually worked and was faster response times In FordPass. Would rather see a better redesign of departure times in the app than a precondition...
