That's the one on the right in OP's comparison--replaced by what OP put in the top photo (replacement has a squarer top and finer knurling). That replacement that OP was so happy about is the one that only appears to be available in red. Which looks OK, but is louder than what I'm looking for.

It doesn't seem like the black version of the sumakeiji are available anymore... only red.
