2024 Mach-e Premium AWD ER. I had been getting texts from the dealer about this update for the last month. I was waiting to hit 30k for my service and tire rotation but it just came through as an ota the other night
Right, I've been holding off as maybe the next gen EV (Ford or other) down the road comes with a balance of a bunch of improvements.
In the case of our Mach-e, it might not be just magneride, as the Rally springs give the suspension extra travel. Some members with magneride GT models have...
I'm at 18 months with my 2024 Premium AWD ER and love this everything about vehicle except the suspension like everyone else. On the fence about the Rally spring upgrade vs upgrading to a new Rally.
Possibly consider a used '24 Rally at some point to keep the big frunk.
When my tires need...
No charge, but I paid $45 for the tire rotation part at each interval. At 20K they asked if me if I wanted to use my points to pay for the rotation so I did. I bought a new cabin air filter on Amazon for $15 or $20
You'll have to check your Tesla app to see if it's V2 which only accepts Tesla versus V3 or V4. Tesla has not updated V2 sites to accept other vehicles and hasn't mentioned any plans to.
The website supercharge dot info has a lot of info about Tesla Superchargers in your area it will show old...
I use Android Auto, I pick a charger from Google maps and press navigate- if I'm parked and it's quiet I hear a whirring sound start up.
That's the nearest I've come to thinking it's preconditioning. I don't always use the map feature to go to a charger so I don't always precondition.
If it's...
It's still the case as Ford hasn't changed the DC fast charging curve on this Mach-e to protect the battery life. Some say is too conservative
There's been a few posts with the exact charging curve graphs, times, and breakdowns in this forum if you want to get really detailed using the search...
Whether it's a Tesla charger at 250kw or 325kw or Electrify America at 350kw, the Mach-e will still max out at 150kw.
I would test both of your adapters at a Tesla supercharger before hitting the road. I have the A2Z adapter which has been great, the Ford one has been good to others who have...
Tesla is cheaper and more reliable
I think they are saying they favor new Tesla stations as being cheaper (in general and with the membership) than EA and a few others.
Also saying that Tesla has been more reliable as in active superchargers that work when you pull up vs out of service...
We've talked about this model before but this is the first time I've seen one for sale outside of Hertz.
Not sure if someone paid the overly inflated prices from Hertz, but one is now selling on carvana at what I would call a market price
Hertz kept the used price is so high on these even...
I use my previous non hybrid Toyota RAV4 as a comparison baseline. That 1900 mile trip at 25mpg would have used 76 gallons of gas at $4 per gallon for $304 vs the $166 in electric you paid.
Road trip gas is probably higher than Central Florida and ice mpg varies
I tried to link the Uber and other gig apps to my Ford account and none of them worked from the start. Maybe they'd already shut it down when I bought my car last year.
Unless Smart car is totally separate third party app - separate from Uber that connects data over to Uber?
Versus what I was...
