I cancelled my 1st edition after a test drive in the Polestar 2 and with no sign of a test drive available in a ME. Personally I prefer the look and build quality. Had nightmare getting my deposit back from Ford, looking forward to my P2 delivery in 2 weeks time.

If it’s old they have not updated their literature as that is what they sent me just yesterday along with my confirmed booking for my test drive !!!

Well Volvo just announced the price of the new all electric XC40. Just under £60k here in the uk, slightly more if you add the £300 option of rear spoiler. So that’s off my list of alternatives to the mustang as I don’t think it’s worth the price with only a 200 mile range.

Well that’s another option off my list as the xc40 first edition is £60k with only a 200 mile range

Well Polestar 2 tests drives now available here in the uk, tried to book within 10 mins of getting e-mail invite only to find all fully booked !!!

Yes i saw this the other day too. At least it gives time for more manufacturers to launch their models and see what alternatives there are.

Tel no must have changed as I rang the one shown and they gave me the correct number... 01327 306616 They are looking into the price issue for me and also as to why my order has changed from 1st Edition to AWD extended model !!

Just checked my 1st edition order and the price has gone up £1150. If that is correct I will be cancelling.

When I viewed the Mach e here in the uk the guys with the car said it will have an electrically light controlled adjustable glass roof, wonder of its been dropped due to cost or reliability issues ?

I was told when I went to the preview its possible to change to any dealer before you sign up, even change the colour ordered plus the option of delivery straight to your home address avoiding the dealer altogether. Be interesting to see if that is the case ?

Hi There is only one trim level currently advertised to order, so I added the extras I have on my current xc40 first edition and that took the price above £60k, far too expensive especially for the advertised range. Im looking forward to seeing the Polestar 2 as looks like that will be...

I recently did a quote for a fully loaded XC40 here in the UK and was just over £60k, the polestar is only £49k fully loaded with all extras in first year.

Had my e mail today too. Oh well at least now it gives me chance to test drive the xc40 and polestar electric as they will. Ow be released this year. Shame it does not mention if any models will be available for test drive this year as that will be a deal breaker for me.

The guys at the viewing event in Sheffield said you can change colour / spec etc up to the point of finalising your order.
