You have laid out all the reasons I reserved a Mach-E. However, my job is changing and I need to get a car in April. I have ordered a Model 3 figuring that if I don’t like it I can sell it for close to what I paid, or trade it in on my Mach-E if I don’t like it.
I just bought a Model 3. But I’m changing jobs and no longer will have a company car. Keeping my Mach-e reservation though. Just keeping options open.
They had this car at the LA Auto Show and it is more deep red. I didn’t notice in person that it looked orange. It is less deep than ruby red, which is good in my opinion. It was close, but I went with infinite blue....
They are close. What made me reserve a Mach-E is the Ford brand (better quality, and dealer network) and the SR rear drive can get an upgraded sound system and other equipment such as an actual gauge cluster that you can’t get in the base Model Y or Model 3. Plus it will basically ge the same...
I have seen it at the LA Auto Show and then again at my local dealership.
Macchiaz-o is correct and that picture better represents how it looks in person. One thing that I liked that I hadn’t noticed at the Auto Show that I noticed at the dealer is that it is a metallic color.
Hope that helps.
Ford will most likely do what Tesla did and lower the price. Without the Federal tax incentive there is no way that Ford would have this car priced so high.
