Good post. We’ve experienced the exact same issue - car was eventually repaired by Evan’s Halshaw Ford. Cost was around £650 including diagnostic. I was led to believe Ford don’t count this as a recall - wonder if it’s worthwhile contacting them to claim some of the cost back? Would you mind...
