So what does "successfully loaded" pre-order even mean? Are they loading them into system based on when orders were placed or all at once?

I would assume since the Cuautitlan plant isn't making any customer vehicles currently it wouldn't be mentioned until closer to Mach-E production. Hopefully we get word on that soon.

It's not just Ford but FCA just hit fresh 52 week lows too. The transition to EVs is going to be messy to the bottom line of many automakers and then of course the macro issues like coronavirus will hit everyone. I still think Ford is good in the long term but it will take a while.

Ford created this map showing the number of Mach-E orders by dealer with the most popular paint color choices by state. I have a hard time differentiating between the different gray/silver choices., which just goes to show you... we need MORE color choices that are not part of the GRAYscale!

Good pics! You make a good point about the PR benefit for providing it via OTA update. Also my guess is if they wanted to launch with it, it would have had to been ready to demonstrate by now. This gives them almost another year to make sure it's fully baked before they have to show it in action.
