No question that if the ADAS doesnāt stop for stationary vehicles at speeds over 65mph, that should be in the user manual. It should be in more than the user manual. The driver should be notified once they get over that speed that it wonāt stop. I understand the issues with the algorithm, and I...
The Mach-E GT is not a competitor to the Model 3. It is larger, and much more like the Model Y. Itās actually also 500 lbs heavier than the Model Y, nevermind the Model 3. Itās 890 lbs heavier than the Model 3. That the GT with performance still feels somewhat quicker than the regular Model 3 LR...
I sold a dual motor LR ā24 Model 3 (Highland), and got the ā24 GT with Performance, and my GT is significantly faster off the line, and maintains that well into any speed Iād drive at. Do you have the performance package on your ā24?
I find the acceleration is indeed the same at full throttle. But the steering weight and suspension are vastly different between the 3 modes. My favorite suspension setting with Magneride on my ā24 GT w/Performance, is Engage, but I find the steering too light. The steering on unbridaled is...
Yeah, youāre right. The risk of wires melting or worse is not worth it. I think Iām going to get a Crutchfield CK10 to connect to the main battery. It has a fuse built in, and itās easy to remove quickly.
The car is pre wired for a sub, and has a so called sub. But itās just a 6x9 regular speaker. So thatās why its bass is so terrible. The live wire is the wire that goes into the 12V lighter socket in the trunk.
I donāt know why. I read about using the 12V. Itās not an issue for this size sub based on my research. One thing I did just in case, was used Forscan to change the time that all power outlets and USB ports stay powered on after you turn the car off, from 15 minutes to 1 minute. I did that just...
[UPDATED] Based on feedback from several folks on this thread, Iām going to power the sub from the primary battery to avoid risk of the thinner wires leading to the 12V socket in the trunk, from melting, or worse yet, causing a fire. Thank you for your input![/UPDATE]
Hi Folks,
I know there...
I guess heās going back to his Canadian roots with the model lineup now just saying āEy.ā
Many of us who grew up in Pretoria cringe at him being called anything of Pretoria, and I doubt anyone these really thinks of him in a particularly special way, at least based on my visits there every few...
True, AI is great for
1) the people who own the servers it runs on.
2) wrecking our goal of reducing CO2 emissions.
But, itās actually really useful for three things:
1) Long road trips - e.g.
"Iām taking my Mach-E from Chicago to Nashville. I have the Extended Range battery and want to stop at...
Iāve had similar issues with my iPhone. Iāve resolved them each time by going into the iPhoneās Settings/General/CarPlay, and removing the Mach-E from the CarPlay list. Then I reconnected in the Mach-E, and it worked again. It added the Mach-E back to CarPlay vehicles in Settings and also...
Yeah, ā24 GT. Not here either. I really want this feature. Will contact my Ford dealer to ask why ā24s donāt have it. I donāt expect anything to come of thatā¦
I pay the connectivity fee for traffic using built in nav, for BlueCruise 4 to work and since I use the carās AT@T hotspot because I often work from my car (while parked), or take calls in which I only have to listen in, and the carās hotspot uses an antenna that is far stronger than the one on...
