    Does the Mach-E Fly??

You've got it! Now to blow your mind: the Corvette is named after a fast attack ship (which is an order of magnitude slower than a P-51) but whose logo is a checkered racing flag crossed with a bowtie and fleur-de-lis flag.

    Does the Mach-E Fly??

I am not a woman and I love the pony logo too - I don't like the "GT" (very "blah") and very much dislike the snake badges on the ICE cobras. The pony running full-tilt in the opposite direction of racetracks is a nice touch.

    Does the Mach-E Fly??

Yep - it's just more information than you need while absolutely correct, and as mentioned is paying homage to the actual impetus for the name: the P-51 mustang (arguably the best piston engine fighter ever made when paired with the Merlin engine). It's similar to the phrase "at a high rate of...

First Tesla Superchargers with "Magic Dock" CCS Adapter are online... and charged up a Rivian

Exactly. Just because you have the right to be an Asshat doesn't mean you should exercise that right

@Ford - Why do I have share driving data to get charging status?

By disabling metrics reporting from the car, you disabled metrics reporting from the car. The SOC is a metric like all the other stuff you don't want to share with Ford. They are within their rights not to make the SOC a special case

Article: "Tesla’s Sales Drop, a Sign That Its Grip on the E.V. Market Is Slipping"

Given that he's been dead for 77 years, we can probably say he no longer runs the company. When they made the announcement last year I thought the long timeline might have an impact on sales given the delay, but I suspect the disappearing incentives also have a big impact. I convinced my wife...

Article: "Tesla’s Sales Drop, a Sign That Its Grip on the E.V. Market Is Slipping"

I thought the article was reasonably focused and fair - they weren't saying all EV's were in trouble, just that Tesla's market dominance is slipping. I have been expecting that for a while, so it doesn't really surprise me. I am also in the camp of people who were set to buy a Tesla and balked...

Unsolicited review posted on my windshield

Actually, I had an '87 four banger hatchback and DID use it like a truck: I hauled sod, decking, etc in that thing. It was not quick but it was extremely versatile. My Mach-E has that same versatility and it is tied with the convertible it replaced as my favorite pony. I do really miss having...

NJ to Charge $250 fee per year on EVs

I generally support Murphy (NJ governor) and especially his push for clean energy and EV's, but in the last 2 years they have gone off the rails. The EV incentives are going away, they are far behind many red states including Pennsylvania with taking advantage of the NEVI money before it goes...
