I have a 2023 GTPE and got rid of the Pirelli P Zeros at 3K miles and bought the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 A/S at discount tire. Same size. Made a significant improvement in ride and somewhat less tire noise. Less expensive than the new Pirelli A/Ss. Wanted cold tire and improved wet performance as...
I have a '23 GTPE with 3K miles which came with Pirelli P Zeros. Don't drive in a way that the performance type tire is needed. Tires not wearing very well, so I guess maybe would get 10K miles out of them(?). So with the discounts on the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4s I switched them out last...
My '23 has the Frunk and Trunk buttons. To access, you have to tap the Controls button on the top banner. Both are grayed out in Drive, Reverse and Neutral. Only active in Park. Seems safe...
I understand your thinking. I was just trying to make a case to be at least competitive with a new entrant. Internal at Ford, the discussion we hope should lead to the conclusion that the Mach-E GTPE should be no less than a 10 second "boost." My concern is that we may only get a 7-8 second boost.
Mr Palmer, if you are reading this thread, please consider 10 seconds as the new number. I have a 2023 GTPE after owning a 2021 Premium Extended Range. Totally improved! My request as mentioned previously is an action that is competitively-based. My friend just bought a 2023 GV70 Electrified...
Match a "competitor"...the 2023 Genesis GV70 Electrified. It claims 10 seconds when the "Boost' button is pushed. But I'll take 8 seconds since it probably takes some time to find and push that button. We only will have to stab that accelerator pedal, that saves some time! I know, they claim 3.8...
Kevin, I thought that since there was already a "button" on an interior screen for the trunk that it could just be replicated on the first screen in the banner area. Just a hope...thanks for your reply. Tom
I can't believe Ford is not reading all this interest in an easy hatch open/close button. Please come up with an OTA that includes it along the top banner like they recently did for the camera "button."
I took delivery of a 2021 Ford Escape Titanium PHEV Iconic Silver in September, replacing a Lincoln MKC. So now have the ability to travel long range efficiently without having the charge-station anxiety. Can go around town 40-50 miles all-electric around town with the Escape and get 35-40 MPG...
I got the notice for both in my Ford Pass App. However, my production date was 2/08/21, not within the range stated in the recall...that said: starting with production 2/24/21.
Have a friend in Chula Vista, and I tracked his GTPE. Took 2 weeks to Kansas City, then indicated ramp transfer there quickly, BUT took 3.5 week to get to his dealer! Arrived Monday, Oct 18.
Maybe the appropriate comparison should be the GTPE with the Model Y they tested? I didn't see the detail on which Model Y that was tested...did it have Performance options? The ER AWD rides much better than the Model Y, per many reviewers, so there is always that trade off.
