And Ford support went down the drain.
All I got in return when reporting that their subscription management page was 404, was almost 50 questions all the way down to the name of the sales person at the dealership(!).
The red dot is the parking sensor I believe. Also the large heated area is the rear radar (if it's cabin air exhaust heating it, that's just clever design, not coincidence).
Rear camera is also heated.
I live where it snows a lot, and when it sticks to the rear the heated areas are as visible...
Mine has been plugged in more or less daily since May 2021 and battery health was 99% last checked a couple of months ago. I have it at 90%.
Concencus seems to be that DCFC is what reduces the batteri longevity.
I do want to add that my PTC was not providing stable cabin temps akin to OP description, however in my case the PTC was failing and was in the end replaced by the dealer even though Ford refused.
There is not DTC thrown, but there is a PID that initially indicated degraded PTC with about 2,5kW...
Heating works just as it used to for me.
Camera button works at lower speeds, and gives a warning otherwise.
Sounds like you might have an anomaly your dealership needs to look at.
