Update - It's been crickets from the dealership since Friday, my MME has been there since 2/15. I had it for 2 full days in total, they had it for 9 plus the first two visits. The loaner MME has 375 miles so far, left the dealer with 112. I miss my personal settings but not setting them up in the loaner. I spent the better part of those first 2 days getting everything set in mine and I miss it. There are so many little tweaks you can set, it's crazy how many options. I am still trying to figure out the radio / Sirius XM, I can't find an easy way to dial in stations when on a station. So you can change to another station left or right of current but the dial pad option goes away when you are on a station. When you are going to swipe left or right the dial pad icon appears. I would like for them to have this stick and not go away when you are on a station. Anyone else notice this? I know you can set all your stations but at times I like to change it directly.

I will reach out again today for an update from my dealer. Weather is looking really good tomorrow - Friday really good, would like to have it back.

Thanks for everyone for hanging in there with me.

Happy Tuesday

The loaner MME has helped me keep my sanity, thank you Fullerton Ford NJ...
Hang in there - at least verbally they seem to say they are on it. The parts in... so thats good. Feel sorry for the situation really. But you have loaner, so thats partly good.

Following your issue with interest. I was wondering whether having a MME as a loaner was a good thing -- similar experience -- or a bad thing -- gets you wanting your own back. I think you answered that question! Glad your dealer is helping you keep your sanity.
Truthfully I worry about my MME sitting at the dealer lot, being moved inside and out, tech's getting in and out repeatedly. The plastic around the back of the frunk being damaged from repeated removal, hanging over the front fender to work on it over and over etc. I know most dealers use a fender protection mat but still. Plus it's snowing on and off, I cringe to think if it was brushed off with the lot snow brush. OCD.... for me is kicking in, I can't help it. This is all before the PPF is applied, ideal to keep it cherry until you get it done etc.

I asked them to keep it inside but I doubt that is happing over the duration of the visit. They only have so much space etc.

Thanks for the post!, I am trying hard to be patient. The loaner helps for sure but it's not my MME etc.

Good luck! I know the feeling, imagining the condition my order will be in when it finally arrives with the multiple truck/train load/unloads, weather, over a month in KC etc.

I know the situation such as yours is more troublesome post-purchase. I've had some good service experiences, and some bad.

It all works out in the end right? ?

Another day, no Ford Engineering at dealer yet, they have to come down and program my MME.

So it sits and waits.
Would you still recommend Fullerton? Going to another closer dealer this week to test drive and hopefully place my order shortly after that online.

And if you're going to do PPF, then I would get the car full paint corrected, first! Expensive but after the way the cars are handled by both shipment teams and dealers (like you said, removing snow with a brush!!!) then paint correction may be your best option.

I always recommend going close to home as possible for service reasons, but Fullerton has been excellent. They have been straight up since the start, no funny business at all. If you want constant tracking from VV and they give updates when asked, go with Fullerton. I do suggest you ask for John Caruso or Joe Orlando, they were good with online commutation. John is best, will respond daily, can also text with him. If you do, reference the first RR MME he delivered and tell him I say hi. The Fullerton team there did everything I asked for on pre-delivery, it was a long list. They also showed me the xplan sheet and upfront info, they didn't try to charge me for add-ons that I didn't want such as window etching. Let me know how it goes for you, hopefully you have an MME in your hands soon.

Todays news from my dealer

A software update for multiple modules was uploaded to the Ford system last night we will be performing that today. The estimated update time to run is about 9 hours total. We will not be able to complete all in one step. I should have a better update for you tomorrow mid day.

Thats progress in some way. hope it fixes the issue.

But I do wonder if these are one off fixes or or updates to previous bulletins or if they are going to make them available to all soon.

The amount of time could just be dealer talk, leave me alone for a day and half and go away. I know they are doing updates, what they are I have no idea. I am not in the know like ChasingCoral for his FE.

Could just be that the FE has a 300 baud transfer rate :)

Do you know if these "updates" are now going to go to all cars at delivery? or are they still in the experimental stage?

And folks were wondering why this wasn't being done OTA ?
The car also has to be connected to a battery charger throughout the update to make sure the update occurs uninterrupted.

When they updated mine last week, they said they were putting in the latest updates that the new cars are all getting. Marlin would have the most up-to-date software of any Mach E on the road.

By tomorrow, @machefan's will have the latest.

I took the demo MME for a joy ride today as it was almost 55 out, had the afternoon off since I have to work tonight. All that crappy weather last week the MME was looking really sad, I had time to kill. I detailed the demo, I am crazy right?

Somebody soon is going to own this RR PE STD one day in NJ, and I want them to know I took care of it while having it.

I actually cleaned this to learn the ins and outs of cleaning the MME. Lots of nooks and crannies on this stang. The black wheel lips and black parts in general do scratch easy, however it's easy to buff them out.

With that said PPF is the way to go if one can afford it. Ceramic would be the runner up etc.

Rapid RED when clean just sparkles doesn't it?

Ok, I'm going to swing by and check out that red when you return it to the dealer! lol I'm going to buy in the next day or so but am still unsure about color. Space White or Rapid Red!

It’s back at the dealer, that MME was flawless! My MME is home, looked like the day I first picked it up, was super clean.

Now I just have to figure out why the center driver dash looks different :)

anyone?

it’s missing the battery percentage too!
