First Edition First Impressions

I feel you! Nov 17th 2019 to 2 March 2021. The last week's are like when have to go to the bathroom and the closer you get the more Urgent it bacomes!! Totally agree on the Grabber Blue ?, unfortunately, wife likes to be nondescript and they're is no way to do that in the MME, and then add GBlue, might as well just plan on being stalked and stared at!!!!!

Haha yeah I was all prepared to go until May or June before getting the car. I was looking to buy a cheap beater car until then so I wouldn't be driving the ice mustang back and forth to work. I just got extremely lucky. The only downside was the price. Almost 4 grand for the FE upgrade as well as the dealer marked it up $2500... But overall it was worth it to get it now.

Can anyone provide a photo of the FE dash? Does it have the matte black dash like the premium.. or more of the silvery dash like the select?

I'll take one in a bit and post it up here. If you are talking about the little trim piece it's a cheap silver plastic. That and the dials are the only cheap feeling parts of the interior. The top of the dash is matte black and under the trim is leather.

I have a couple more impressions that I forgot or noticed since the first post. First, the active x seats. They are extremely nice. If I hadn't known they were vegan leather I would have assumed it was real. The heated seats also get extremely hot. The steering wheel has hot and cold spots unfortunately. That's how every car I've driven with a heated steering wheel is but still a minor disappointment.

Next is for you large phone people out there. I have the Galaxy s21 ultra which is one of the largest phones out right now unless you get like the note or something. Without a case it fits perfectly in the wireless pad. With a average sized case, it does not sit flush. However, it still charges and has not slid around at all yet. If you have a case with a glossy back it might slide but as long as its a typical rubber/silicon type case you should be good.

Also, I like to drive using the one pedal drive mode but one pet peeve/thing to get used to is I wish they would make it so you can turn off one pedal drive while in reverse. I'm used to just using the vehicle creep to reverse my car and it makes it very hard to get used to one pedal drive while in reverse. Plus the regen you get while in reverse has to be minimal. Hopefully there will be an update in the future.

Speaking of things I want updated, in some of the pre production reviews they talked about the gear selector because it would keep turning even after you were in gear. Well it still does it on the production. I think they should be able to update it because when you are in park you can't turn it so they have that function available.

And last but not least a little life hack. I have heard of some people on the forum putting takeout in the frunk to not get their cabin dirty/ not stink it up. Well if you have that greasy bag that you don't want to put on your nice expensive seats I have the perfect hack for you.
