- 2021 MME Premium AWD SR Infinite Blue

It's time for the obligatory "It's finally here!" thread. My infinite blue Premium SR AWD arrived at the dealer yesterday, and I picked it up this morning. I won't go crazy with a description of the car or all of my impressions since that's been done a hundred times already. But I will say that I really like it. I was concerned that the acceleration with the SR battery might be lackluster, but that is certainly not the case. It moves far quicker than any car I've ever had, which is more than plenty for me.
I've only driven it about 40 miles so far, but I haven't noticed any screen buzz or wind noise. FordPass pairing worked on the first try, as did PaaK, and HomeLink. My ChargePoint Home Flex works perfectly with the MME at 11kW. I had ordered an extra fob from the Ford Parts site for $30 and dropped it off at the dealer a couple of weeks ago so that they could pair it when doing the dealer prep. The sales guy said they were going to charge me $115 for an hour of labor, but he must have forgotten because there wasn't an extra charge for it anywhere on the paperwork.
Speaking of paperwork, special thanks to @hybrid2bev for having the right people at Ford Credit reach out to my dealer a few weeks ago and get everything figured out with Options. The finance person said that today would have been a very long process if that hadn't happened since they had never heard of Options. But since they knew how to do it, everything was painless. They didn't try to play any games, but I did have to remind them to lower the doc fee from $299 to $100 as per the X-Plan terms. They had already included the $2500 Options rebate and the $100 ADA credit. I tried to get them to also give me the $500 dealer cash, but they said that was for them, not for me. I know that's true, but I figured it was worth a shot. They also didn't have a credit for my $500 deposit listed, so I had to ask for that. They said that Ford would credit that back to my credit card, which I knew wasn't true. They said they'd have to look into it, so I had them add the $500 deposit refund to the IOU sheet.
The car arrived without a front license plate bracket even though front plates are required in Vermont. I asked the sales guy about it and he said that it didn't come with one, so it probably wasn't supposed to. I pointed out that it was listed on the window sticker, so he agreed to order one. I know that the thought of installing an OEM bracket on an unscathed bumper is sacrilege on this forum, but I actually like the look of it better than the Craig's bracket pictures I've seen. I had assumed all along that the bracket would come installed, so I never really thought about what to do if it didn't. Maybe I'll try to find some automotive sticky tape to attach it with to save the bumper from getting holes in it. I'll have to think about it.
It was rainy all day, and the car was already filthy by the time I got home with it. Oh well. I'm planning to follow the same strict regimen as I have with all my previous cars and rinse the salt off once or twice a year.
I took out the frunk dividers and put the left one back in. My 40' J1772 extension and Mustart Travelmaster with all of it's different plug types fit fine on the right side. I'll save the left side for takeout bags.
