Very nice Infinite Blue Mach-E, congratulations on getting this color before it went the way of the dinosaurs!

I understand but I already have a Mustang in that color...

Had XPEL ULTIMATE (8 mil) Protective Film put on by CNY Solar Protection in Syracuse, New York. Cost was $1,080 (included sales tax). The following sections were covered: Full front, side mirrors and headlights. Partial on the hood (about 18 inches from the front) and wheel wells.

I was asked if you can see the film lines. Yes you can but you have to get at an angle and get close to see them. You can feel them if you slide a hand over the edges.

However, if you stand back, it is hard to see them unless you zoom and know where to look. For beauty photos of the car, I doubt they will be visible from a distance.

Of course, before XPEL ppf could be put on, the front factory installed license plate holder had to be removed. Once removed, three lovely holes were left. There are cheaper ways to plug them but I went the Bumperplugs.com route and yes you need to purchase four (I now have an extra one if anyone is interested).



For the record, I am okay with them. the lower one will be covered soon with a license plate bracket.

Installed the OCDplug Matte Screen Protector using the excellent youTube video from forum member @Liv Love the results!



After watching the video, I would suggest the following:

1. I did go out and purchase a larger spray bottle which came in handy for a couple of other projects for the Mach-E. Worth the $1.99 from a local drug store.

2. I used a small table just outside the passenger side door to prep the protector with the soapy water solution before I put it on the screen. Found that much easier to do than to do it inside the car.

3. The large towel Liz used to keep the water from getting all over was excellent advice!

4. Made sure I did not forget the Vol. button circle.

I installed the Ford Rear Bumper Protector for the Mustang Mach-E. The soapy water solution I used for the screen protector came in handy here. Like any vinyl like install you need to first clean the surface (I used Mr. Green Multipurpose cleaner). I then sprayed the surface with the soapy water solution where the bumper protector would go. Ford did an excellent job with the top material which you peel off with arrows showing where to place it on the car.



The soapy water solution lets you move it around until it is in position. The supplied squeegee allowed me to remove any air and water from under the vinyl so it would adhere directly on the paint's surface.

It is hard to see but the protector is textured so it is easy to see and will be able to give some friction if an item slides over it.

Having it detailed and a few layers of Ceramic Pro this week. Here's an update pic from my detailer shop.



Notice the emblems are gone per my request. The driver side "X" emblem had come loose and cracked. It broke when removing it. Planning on putting on side stripes in the future. Might find another location for the "mach" and "e" emblems.



Will get it back tomorrow and will update with more photos.

Picked up Max from the detailer and took it down by the river for a few photos. Will add more later.

Then for the final inspection and touch up in the Sun.

Nice shot & editing! Dealership called me today and said my Infinite Blue Premium just arrived and your picture here really had me thinking of going to check it out lol Also. I'm thinking this is in Bville? Use to eat at Muddy Waters, not sure if it's still around.

Sadly, Muddy Waters is no longer there. Currently the location has a Mexican restaurant.

Steve from Plug & Play EV youTube channel was in town and we meet up at Destiny USA in Syracuse, NY. Our planned photoshoot on the Onondaga Lake Parkway will have to wait another day with all the rain we got today. Will post the video when available.
