Looks great!? Counting down for mine to arrive. Beginning of July is when it's hitting town. Already ordered wheels and tires for it. I'm lucky that my sister runs service department of my dealership, so they'll throw the wheels on right away.

Enjoy your cruising.??

It just landed!!? My sister runs service department, so I'll post more as they become available.

UPDATE!

Well, wheels have been switched, it'll be going for window tinting and PPF on Aug 24th. It went on it's first road trip this past Sunday and was amazing! Hoping to continue more happy miles.
Downers... still not able to connect my phone as a key and connect for charging service through Ford, but nothing life altering. My fob works just fine.?

Just joined the club today! Unlike so many here who had Shadow Black high on their list, I honestly had it dead last--wanted a lighter color like Star White/Space White or maybe even Silver to show off the "tricks" Ford was using for the "coupe" look.

Well, I went to see one in person and anyone worried about black looking "chunky" (which I was), do not fear. The car looks hella good in the flesh and plenty aggressive, especially the front. Actually, the more subtle "handlebar" changes the look significantly, and some are gonna love it.

Also, I was worried that the "select" wheels would be dull boring and cheap looking on the black, but, again, they blend nice in person and don't detract from the aggressiveness at all (even if they don't "add" as much as the upgraded wheels.)

I bought the stripped base select model because my state has an EV rebate with a soft cap at $45K which knocks out basically any other Mach E, unless you want to lose 3/5 of the credit.

I will say -- for a "stripped" model, it's quite loaded. Adaptive cruise, "leather", lumbar support, safety packages galore, wireless charging--a lot of features I'm used to seeing in "upgraded" packages on other models. Heck, there's still a gazillion options in the menu I haven't gotten to yet.

Anyway, wanted to post some pictures of the base select as I actually found it hard to get some good images of this spec online. I've learned not to rule out any color on this beautiful car and hopefully these pics will help others come to their senses and jump to the dark side.

Yup! We had this exact debate several times over during the 2020-2021 winter. You do lose "some" small portion of the illusion with black, but the sacrifice is worth it. :)

Nice @MachEnation I was all set to go cheap originally too, but the wheels just didn't look good online and I really did not want another black interior car. Plus adding either package for heated seats pushed the Select price to almost the same as Premium. I do like the nice extras with the Premium, but actually find myself hardly ever noticing the sun roof view.

The select wheels look MUCH better in person on the black. With the gunmetal, it’s a nice look. They certainly don’t look “cheap” and everyone who has seen the car can’t believe it’s a “base” and these are the “standard” wheels.

Of course, if my state hadn’t soft capped the rebate I no doubt would be in a different trim—or at least have one or two options. But having a young family made it hard to justify the extra dough and it’s actually an advantage for us to lose the pano roof.

Guys! My girl is currently at the detailer getting beautiful and discovered that we have blue metallic flake in our paint! Did anyone else know this?! Picking her up tomorrow so I'll get pictures as soon as I can!
I need to run out right now and check into this!
