I'm struggling with FordPass. Same as everybody else - PaaK setup on iOS is a goat rodeo. It thinks I'm in Detroit when trying to set departure times. The thing crashes like the Hindenburg, and it times out so often that I think this is the secret name for it - Timeout! And, I have stable gig internet.

Does anybody know a feedback channel that we can use? This POS is Charlie Sheen levels of unstable.

We've all experienced varying levels of success with FP. My wife is on Apple and I'm on Android and we seem to get differing errors and misbehavior.

There are MANY threads on this. Searching those out first will get you answers much faster than starting another thread.

I don't know of a Ford gripe-line.

Nope, those are not there. PaaK cannot be set up. I'm thinking they fell off the train somewhere in Mexico!

You might change the title to something like: "I need a feedback channel for FP errors."

Nobody has a (working) frunk button in FordPass. Some people have a non-functional frunk button

Time Zone thing was fixed in the last update. You sure you have your app set to automatically update?

I've personally have had very very little problems with the apps operation on iOS. I think I've had it crash on me twice, and I don't think I've ever had it freeze up. Even the Apple Watch app has been working really well for me. PAAK works about 90% of the time, works enough where I just get annoyed vs wanting to burn the car down to the axles.

Nobody has a (working) frunk button in FordPass. Some people have a non-functional frunk button
Pretty sure GT/GTPE owners have a functional frunk button. I think the newer delivery Selects/Premiums do too.

I dont really understand why ford didnt ship a really good api to integrate with the car, and give a solid auth method for allowing third parties to develop against it. That way they could ship there mediocre app, and if someone wanted to do better and sell it, they could.

Yes, I am current on the app, iOS, even the phone is pretty new. Happy for you that PaaK is working for you. For many others, it's not.

I hope Ford, or at least some of their leadership realize that with electric vehicles, the software is critical to the customer experience. And, this experience with this version of FordPass is not good. I'm annoyed as are others. I'm concerned that it's not being improved.

I want to give an analogy. My wife and I recently drove back from Los Angeles to Denver. We stopped at a few places to eat and a few gas stations to fill up. Just a small amount of effort makes a huge difference in how the customers perceive the place. Ford should be listening and finding some knowledgeable people (there are plenty here, and Ford has a presence here) and start talking to them and improve the software, the experience, and the perception. THey need to start with something.
