Hi guys,

Only in the beginning of July i received my AWD-ER Infinity Blue edition after a 15 months waiting period.
Never had i the opportunity to actually test the car in real life.
Basically i bought it from a picture.

I was very happy with the car, but did notice a few things that were a concern.
- Seats have no side support and i think are way too basic
- Suspension was not at the level i wanted it to be.

So finally i ended up with trading in my AWD+ER edition for a GT Performance edition and boy what a joy !

Congrats! I guess you're in the market for new all-season or winter tires now since the GT-PE has summer tires and you probably live in a pretty cold climate. ??

Yeah i am not to worried about it either, but just to safe and sure it ordered them anyway.

It is a bit of a let down that the logo isn't lighted in Europe (because of EU regulations)

Huh, didn’t know EU didn’t like the lighted logo. I wonder if that can be turned on via Forscan or something

Congrats. I kind of did the same thing - traded in my FE for DMG GT non-PE but has Blue cruise et al. Love it. Enjoy the ride.

This comment makes me happy. These are the two only major complaints I have about my Premium and I just changed one of my orders to GTPE. I found the Premium seats overly firm (added a seat cushion and it's now "okay") and the suspension is great on city streets but on the highway it's rough sledding.

It’s the below 25 F where most summers have the glass transition issues and turn hard as rocks and potentially have tread separation issues. They progressively suck worse and worse below 40 F until they fall off a cliff, it happens suddenly.

My GTPE is amazing! You'll love it. The '5 seconds of freedom' actually keeps me from felony speeds I'm sure. ?

You will not regret this, my first experiences are very good.
I drive about 400 miles last week and it is a totally different car ! On the highway the handling is way better, the suspention is still a bit rough but not "bumpy" anymore. Like it should have been in the first place for all Mach-e models.

The chair is more comfortable and has better support.

I know now that the reaction on the "pedal" is way more responsive. The extra PK and NM is very noticable. It is wet/cold on the road so the tires are looking for grip anyway.

I live in MI. Four weeks ago, I put a set of Pirelli Scorpion Winter on my GTPE. I'll put the OEM summer tires back on in the Spring.
