This is making me feel like each of these cars is a ticking time bomb. Can I trust this car for a long trip? I’m surprised, perhaps I shouldn’t be, that there’s no acknowledgment from Ford or communication.

I also have concerns about the Lightning. My blend date on that is Monday but I’m concerned about having 150k invested in Ford EVs that I cannot trust on long road trips.

Has anyone considered hitting Farley on social media? While I really like this car I may consider selling while it’s worth at least what I paid.

2021 Mach-E GTPE, 3K miles, 5 months old, build date November 2021, Stop Safely Now message in work parking lot, only ever used the Ford-supplied charger on 120 VAC mode. LVB was OK, HVB 82 percent capacity. Had to be towed to Ford.

Ford Service has had the vehicle for about a month now. They believe that it is the HVBJB, but not sure when this part will be in. My biggest issue is the lack of information provided by the Service Department. They never call back. I have to show up in person to get their attention.

I am trying really hard to be patient, which is not one of my strong points...

2021 GTPE Canadian owner here also received SSN message this past weekend. Had it towed to my local dealership and was told High Voltage failure. The car is only 3 months old with 3000miles or 6000kms. So far the technician is trying to reset it. Not sure what that really means. I don't have high hope with this being resolve quickly.

My car has a little less than 3000 miles on it and just shy of 3 months, these constant reports are scary

I was lucky and parked in front of my friends house. Car won't start and then the message came up. It also popped up suspension fault error message as well.

My parts dealer is autonation ford white bear lake in Minneapolis. I spend a lot of money a year with them for my business. They've been good to me.

Thx for sharing. As turns out the HVBJB was expited to AutoNation Ford NTX and should arrive today.

Anyone monitoring this thread who has a car in for HVBJB replacement I have a request. @Tedro7 @breeves002 @Rrknight

Please ask the service advisor to provide the part number to the HVBJB that they are installing in the car and DM me with that information.

I don't pull pranks without actually saying it's a prank. Some people (points fingers at @Logal727) just failed to click on the "this is a prank" button. Not my fault!

Looks like my service dept. better get this diagnosed quickly before everyone else takes the remaining parts It appears they hooked the car up to the code reader yesterday afternoon, and have been working on it much of today.

check your 12v battery voltage, easy to pop in a 'power port' voltmeter for under $20
IF the voltage is <12.0, you should charge your 12v battery before you try to drive
by:
pop your Frunk
pull rear and driver's side 'beauty covers'
find somebody with a running vehicle and jumper cables to charge you for at least 20-30 minutes with their vehicle running.... AND/OR, attach a battery charger set to 'sealed' overnight.
