I agree with you on nixing the sun roof. I've had them before and they quickly lost their novelty. I don't want to pay for replacing one if it breaks and, here in the desert southwestern US, the sun is just too intense and I'm always trying get out of it!

I talked with a knowledgeable person about the installation process and the full breaker box. He said we can take out 4 single 20 amp, 120 volt breakers and replace them with 2 double breakers to get room for the double wide 240 volt, 50 amp breaker we need for the NMEA 14-50 charger outlet.

Is anyone else in the 7/4 group starting the process of getting a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed for L2 home charging? I'm in the process of contacting local electrical contractors now and would be interested in comparing installation costs.

Anyone have experience with electrical installers in the Tucson area? I'm looking to have a 240v/50 amp outlet installation for the level 2 charger provided with the Mach-e put in my garage. Thanks in advance.

If you call the dealer or Ford service they can tell you if you order has an associated VIN or build week, but the build week is not official until Ford sends you an email. So it's likely to change up until the email arrives. That is my experience so far with a very confusing process.

Space White Metallic Select RWD SR ordered 03/02/2022 with email from Ford about 07/04/2022 build week. Before the email it moved at least once from an earlier week so we'll see if that means it probably won't slip further.

I had to call to find out I already had a VIN and a Build week. The tracker online still just has the order as Accepted. By calling, I know I've had at least 2 build dates. Is there any typical pattern to the musical build dates before the car build actually starts?

I was sitting in order accepted status, called the dealership and found out I had a VIN and also a tentative build week. Have you checked directly with the dealer? The email notification system doesn't seem to work very well.

It would be very interesting to know the last day when the MME plant in Mexico can build the 22 model year before it must retool for the 23 model year. Presumably that would be in late summer or early autumn. By then the last batch of 22's would be finished and either shipped or awaiting...

I ordered a Space White Select RWD on Feb 2nd and don't have a build date yet. It may have more to do with the dealership and how it handles the order than the options on the car?

I ordered a Mustang Mach-e Select from the Oracle, AZ Ford dealership at the beginning of February and am waiting for a build date. Has anyone else on the forum ordered through this dealership? Did everything go as expected? did you have any issues?
