Blue instrument cluster when using BlueCruise?

Hmm so it worked fine for me today on two different highways I’d never tried before. Can’t say why. My settings were fine - didn’t have to change anything.

Blue instrument cluster when using BlueCruise?

Thanks - these are very helpful. I’ll check the Lane Centering with Hands-Free setting tomorrow morning. It’s surprising to learn that there are separate hands-on and hands-free BlueCruise modes but the Ford video confirms it. @timbop I was also testing this on the ACE and Garden State Parkway...

Blue instrument cluster when using BlueCruise?

Hmm so now I see the "hands-on-wheel" icon but I didn't see it the other day when the entire instrument cluster was lit blue. However, I now get a brief alert whenever lane centering and cruise control are on that says "BlueCruise is enabled." Very strange.

Blue instrument cluster when using BlueCruise?

Last week, I got the free BlueCruise software update and tried it out for the first time. When I got on the interstate and I turned on lane centering and cruise control, the entire instrument cluster turned blue to indicate that BlueCruise was on. It was great. However, since that first trip...

Good NJ-area dealer for the glass recalls?

I appreciate the recommendation! Just came back from having the recalls done at Malouf (had a long wait before a loaner car was available). So far, looks really good!

Safety Recall 22S41 - 2021-2022 Mach E - HVBJB Recall [high voltage battery main contactors may overheat]

The update is not available at dealers yet. Whatever you got wasn't the recall update.

Safety Recall 22S41 - 2021-2022 Mach E - HVBJB Recall [high voltage battery main contactors may overheat]

I wonder if it would help to let the car sit for a few minutes after DC fast charging - let those contractors cool off a bit before getting on the road?

You think the UK shares the US national recall agency??? 🤪🤪

    90% fast charging software update?

How much does this cost? Always assumed it was free.

Safety Recall 22S41 - 2021-2022 Mach E - HVBJB Recall [high voltage battery main contactors may overheat]

I feel less embarrassed hearing that other people have done this too :)

Safety Recall 22S41 - 2021-2022 Mach E - HVBJB Recall [high voltage battery main contactors may overheat]

Um, not really. This is an absurd caricature of the situation. No one on this forum is happy about the recall - I have not seen any behavior that I would describe as fanboyish. But there definitely are a lot of people who are panicking about a potential loss of acceleration without having any...

Safety Recall 22S41 - 2021-2022 Mach E - HVBJB Recall [high voltage battery main contactors may overheat]

Ford specifically said the software update will be available in July. Source

Safety Recall 22S41 - 2021-2022 Mach E - HVBJB Recall [high voltage battery main contactors may overheat]

This phrase from the FAQ may explain why some people have the problem and other people are fine, despite doing DCFC and flooring it: "part to part variation." Maybe the manufacturer of the individual part has consistency issues, so some relays work fine and others are prone to failure, but it's...

Safety Recall 22S41 - 2021-2022 Mach E - HVBJB Recall [high voltage battery main contactors may overheat]

Some of the worst-case scenarios people post on here are so funny: "Oh man, a software fix for the high-voltage contactor issue??!? Now Ford will have no choice but to cap the car's speed at 10 mph, steering will be disabled, only automated BlueCruise driving will be allowed, the car battery...

Safety Recall 22S41 - 2021-2022 Mach E - HVBJB Recall [high voltage battery main contactors may overheat]

Lol, sorry, but this is not like batteries lighting on fire randomly "all over." Not even a little. Yes, you can see how fears about panel gaps have really held back Tesla sales over the last few years. It's really been a nightmare for them. Can't give them away!
