Has anybody in this forum received their Mach E yet????

I don't have time to read the 15 pages to see if anyone has received their Mach E, but I gather there is rework they plan to do on cars already manufactured that is hardware, not a software flashing. I will go read the explanation from FORD thread next, but this may work out great for me. Was...

Under The Mach-E Hood / Frunk: motor components, electrical control hardware, and DIY maintenance point

It's because Shrek implies that King Farquaad is compensating for something. I had to have "The Talk" with my kids when they were 4.5 years old. That movie was OBSCENE! Better watch before it is gone!

Charging FAIL & GREAT Surprise When We Compare The Model Y & Mach-E On The World’s Toughest EV Test!

You made my day comparing Tesla to a shoe. Still LOLing. To me, it has the face of a bullfrog or a toad without any eyes, nose or mouth. Personally, for me, I have low vision (good enough to drive, but not suited for searching a Tesla screen for windshield wiper controls or glove box release...

Under The Mach-E Hood / Frunk: motor components, electrical control hardware, and DIY maintenance point

I think the Frunk Dividers are good size for separating individual grocery bags. I may replace the snap fasteners with threaded inserts and thumb knob bolts so I cam take them in and out easily if they are not already set up for easy removal and replacement.

Comment by 'NoMoShocks' in item 'Mustang Mach E Infinite Blue'

Hey, is Inspiration Blue another name for Infinite Blue? My wife and I just celebrated 38 years marriage. I have admired Mustangs since high school 1973-1977, but my first car was 1971 Pontiac Tempest T-37 (government issue GTO) we shared in our newlywed years, and the Mustang Mach E will be my...

Charging FAIL & GREAT Surprise When We Compare The Model Y & Mach-E On The World’s Toughest EV Test!

So my question for TFLtommy is in the series of videos since you got the Mustang Mach E, you seem to be preferring the Mach E with your dad preferring the Tesla. How much of that is real vs. role playing? I am not saying role playing is bad or anything. I think it makes for a better video if...

Charging FAIL & GREAT Surprise When We Compare The Model Y & Mach-E On The World’s Toughest EV Test!

Yeah, it just takes some time for them to both stop saying it is your part until one finally eats crow and say you're right, it is my part. When there used to be Microsoft and Intel Help, Microsoft would tell me it was a hardware issue and Intel would tell me it was a software issue. Finally I...

Charging FAIL & GREAT Surprise When We Compare The Model Y & Mach-E On The World’s Toughest EV Test!

I had the same thought, couldn't you have plugged in the address of the EA station into the nav system even though it was not mapped in Ford's software? Then I think the car would have taken the downhill portion of the route into account and given a more accurate prediction. Sorry, if you...

Under The Mach-E Hood / Frunk: motor components, electrical control hardware, and DIY maintenance point

Jamie, You kind of hit the nail on the head in that I have too much time on my hands waiting for a Jan 24 build and likely end of February delivery. I really appreciate everyone's comments that have calmed my concerns. My suggestion that radiator might need service every 3 years was more of a...

Under The Mach-E Hood / Frunk: motor components, electrical control hardware, and DIY maintenance point

After seeing this video, not liking the spaghetti of rubber hoses and learning there is a rather conventional radiator. My Chevy Bold does not employ so many hoses going every which way. Imagine the cost when it is time to replace all the hoses and the conventional radiator may need servicing...

    Taking over FE order?

By the time I get my Premium configured as a Mach-x4, the additional add to a GT is only about 4K. I think there is even less difference from the cost of an FE-x4. But I am sticking with the Premium because can't get Space Gray Interior or Infinite Blue with the GT and I am terrible at waiting...

Track Your Mach-E Order by VIN #

On another thread today, I saw someone saying from start of production to end of production is about 2 full weeks, so I hope for you that your 12/20 scheduled build will warp up by the end of this week. I'm guessing Christmas and New Years added an extra week to your build to make it 3 weeks.

    Taking over FE order?

Perhaps your best bet will be to make an arrangement with a dealer to save a Grabber Blue First Edition they will use for test drives for you to buy after thy are done demonstrating it, but that would likely be late 2021. Might as well order the Grabber Blue GT instead.

about how many days before scheduled production date will the Window Sticker show up on this tracker? Week before?

    First Editions Possibly Available

Of course, you are correct, but it is odd that they end up being advertised on a site like CarGurus weeks before the demonstrator will even arrive. I just want to see one in real life before mine arrives but the Mach E Tour has no plans to come anywhere near Portland, OR.

Track Your Mach-E Order by VIN #

I figured out a way to drive myself crazy by checking the VIN tracker nearly everyday to see if views of the car and a window sticker have appeared, even though I know they won't until probably the week before my build date of 1/24. I keep looking for a Mach E that has arrived at a dealer near...
