What charger are you using and has it shown any errors? I have a GrizzlE that works great but periodically I have to unplug it, let it reset then plug back in. Otherwise check your settings using the on-screen menu in the car.

Your other option is to purchase a unit like the Grizzl-E and set those dip switches to charge at only 24 or 16 Amps. Still much better than 110V/12A. No change to your existing circuit. Just a thought.
