I've had a similar experience: Need to bring the car in for recall work, etc. In my experience, the service shops, while friendly enough, haven't been enthusiastic to work on the car, and often there's only one or two technicians that have been assigned to Mach-E fixes. This slows things down...
I have a bit of a roadtrip coming up at the end of the month and I'll keep this TSB number bookmarked should anything happen. Hopefully the added clarity and formality makes this a straightforward fix, assuming parts availability etc. (FWIW, the recall has been applied so I'm not terribly...
iPhone 13 Mini here. Just had the WACM update completed and can't say there's much of an improvement when it comes to heat. Charging speeds? Eh. The chargers is too slow to notice much one way or another on short drives, but it gets plenty hot. Hopefully they find a fix for future builds.
Ugh. I've been contemplating posting something nearly identical to OP's - same noise, same location. Have heard it since Day 1, which was about a year ago. What's worse, it comes and goes, but is most common on sorta rough roads. Here in the Northeast, that's pretty much all of them.
I've been...
Do you have pictures? Did you replace the stock struts that lift the liftgate? Is the motor not expecting more/less to work with? I feel like this would lead to motor failure a some point in the future.
How could they not? Half this forum are posts bemoaning OTAs (myself included. ✌🏼)
What's crazy to me is that Ford embarked on this EV strategy and seemingly failed to figure this out. To up the stakes, they're now using the OTA mechanism to "fix" and complete recall work. Insane.
I love my...
While I'm not impressed with Ford's handling of OTA updates, I'm skeptical that a service manager would know the state of Ford's server setup enough to declare it the sole problem. At the same time, that Ford has bitten off more than it can chew on the software front makes sense: None of their...
Okay so I’ve been following this thread with both fascination and admiration (a true thank you to those who have provided some insight into how all this work.)
What’s the upshot at this point? Sounds like the recall was pulled, and that’s that. No point going in for service if we had something...
Yep, it's almost certainly a heat issue. For my part, I had one that burned itself out after ~7 months of daily use (it's all I use at home - properly wired 240v, etc. etc.) Dealer replaced it, albeit with a confused look on their face, but alas, the problem has begun again. Noticeably, it...
