Ford: Launch Quality Has Improved. Mach-E Delay Due to Single Supplier

It's not much, but it's more information that we've gotten so far. Thanks for retrieving that from the other side of the paywall! I assume this means that everyone's vehicles that were already in transit need to be regathered in some central location for a part replacement.

    Another Mach-E delivery in Texas!

Do we know if any of these cars got recalled temporarily returned to Ford for quality checks and modifications? If so, that might provide insight into the delays for the rest of us. (And if not, why not?)

I just received my Mach-E First Edition (in California)!

Thanks for the info. Do you know when your car was manufactured? I'm wondering if it's an issue with all models shipped before X date.

I just received my Mach-E First Edition (in California)!

Did they tell you what the delay was about, or what steps they took to make yours ready to hand to the customer?

Has anybody in this forum received their Mach E yet????

Well, now it's tomorrow. Based on the fact that they still can't tell me anything useful, I'm guessing I won't be receiving it in the next 36 hours...

Shipping tracking - what comes after Kansas City?

I've tried that, the freight number from palsapp doesn't appear to have the same format as whatever tracking system is being used by BNSF on the next leg. I'm also inferring that BNSF is the shipper, so I could be asking the totally wrong company.

    Stupid questions from EV newbie

People are explaining #3 in a lot of ways, but I'd like to throw my own angle in. - If you plug electric tools into a gas generator, you can run them outside. The exhaust is where the generator is. - If you take the tools and the generator into the garage, you're in trouble, because the...

Shipping tracking - what comes after Kansas City?

I have to assume that this is as far as it goes. My vehicle has reached its destination city (not where I am) and the status is listed as delivered (not to me) on Jan 6. My estimated delivery from Ford is Jan 14-20, so I have to assume that it is still making progress in some other way that I...

Shipping tracking - what comes after Kansas City?

I am lucky to have one of the earliest delivery dates I've seen on this forum (as early as two days away!), which also means that I have been among the first people experiencing the agony of waiting for information each time my vehicle enters a new and relatively uncharted stage of the process...

Has anybody in this forum received their Mach E yet????

My estimated delivery from Ford is 1/14-1/20, and my dealer still doesn't know anything more precise than that. 🤷‍♂️

Has anybody in this forum received their Mach E yet????

You can enter your VIN on palsapp.com . Unfortunately, as best I can they are only responsible for shipping to the Kansas City hub, so you can confirm that your vehicle has/hasn't made it there yet but it disappears into the shipping void afterwards.

Shipped Mach-Es Arrive at Kansas City Terminal With Deliveries Imminent

Does anyone know how to find tracking information *after* the shipment to Kansas City? Based on the info I see on Palsapp and the timeline of my delivery, it looks like that tracking information is only for the journey from Mexico to Missouri. My shipping manifest appears to have been fully...

TFL's Love and Hate list of Mach-E after a week of driving

My $0.02 is that tires are replaceable, I assume they are up to the task but even if I have to replace them more frequently on a heavy vehicle it's likely to be offset by the reduced cost of ownership on the motor/powertrain. As for the chassis, I'm not that concerned. The factor of safety to...

    My FE shipped today!

You mentioned you're at Towne Ford, they've been pretty clueless about my order, as well as their own demo model. The one thing I know is that they won't be letting anyone test drive in customer-ordered cars except that specific customer, which means I can't take yours for a spin while I'm...

Submitted Orders # Tracking List and Stats [Enter Yours]

www.palsapp.com It's a car transport logistics company, but I'm also not sure what portion of the trip they're responsible for. Based on the information I have it seems possible that they were only responsible for moving the vehicle from one rail hub in Kansas City to another rail hub in Kansas...

TFL's Love and Hate list of Mach-E after a week of driving

Interesting video. I am pretty satisfied with what I heard, it seems fair enough and I continue to be hopeful that my test drive experience will keep me happy enough to go through with the sale. One thing that he said that I want to publicly disagree with (as a matter of subjective opinion)...

TFL's Love and Hate list of Mach-E after a week of driving

I'm sorry, is that screen (at 7:50) showing 80% charge and 79 mile range? I know he's driving the smaller battery pack, 4wd, in the mountains, and in -1F weather, but that's alarming to me. Even though he says that he hasn't felt any battery anxiety, if I saw those numbers I sure would. Edit...

    My FE shipped today!

Update: my ford.com delivery date has been moved forward! It's still not mid-decmber like they originally promised, but it's three weeks earlier than the last time I checked the site.

    My FE shipped today!

New data on Palsapp! I have no idea what to make of this, so let the speculation games begin! I'll start: It's obvious now why it's taking so long to ship, they're routing my car from Mexico to California by way of Missouri and then Argentina.
