Noticed that my mpkwh was "double" on the return leg, of a round trip.
So if I make a 6.4 mile round trip with a short stopover. The return trip, would start at 3.2, not at 0. This messes up distance traveled and fuel efficiency. The same erroneous data is also logged in FordPass.
Just noticed these were available in FDRS. Applied the GWM update which requires a USB stick, and it updated the software from -EKK to -EKL (which is 2.5.2 I think).
Subsequently an APIM update showed up. Im applying it right now. Most likely the same as 2.5.3.
We will see....
To avoid losing clips or breaking the plastic covers that block access to the 12v battery, I was wondering if the battery can be charged via the constant 12v terminals in the fuse box.
Trickle charge only, just like a solar charger.
On Nov 11, 2021 I noticed that I could no longer login to any of the ford.com websites. My FordPass app still continued to function, but could not install/login on any additional phones.
After three months of trying various avenues for resolution, I was able to get my login re-enabled.
Ive noticed that my max charging when less than 80% is limited to 84kw/h. My car is now fully updated to 2.3.0 (and all modules are updated via FDRS).
I have noticed that post 80% charging rate is 40kw/h, which is better than pre-1.7.1.
I have tried charging at multiple EA...
Not sure others are seeing this, but today I was trying to log in to the earlyaccess website, and it says:
"CSIAH0320E: Account is disabled. Contact your administrator"
I then tried the regular ford.com site, and same error when trying to log in.
So before I try to contact my administrator...
Two days ago, I received a notification that Power up 1.6.0 was installed. Today I got another notification that Power Up 1.4.0 has been installed.
Anyone else seen this before?
I have worked in software before, and I know that implementing downgrades of software is tricky. Hopefully that isn't...
I have my phone in my pocket at home. I keep my phones Bluetooth off, to avoid the phone unlocking the car periodically.
Today I noticed that when I go to my garage, the car makes clicking noises and headlights turn on. The doors are openable at this point, the mirrors have not opened up...
When using AA wirelessly, the phone cannot connect to the in-car wifi hotspot. If it was possible to use the "wired" version of AA through the USB jack, then it would be possible to use the in-car wifi hotspot.
Has anyone figured out how to force the car to use the USB connection? There are...
