Exciting thought for an American who ordered a premium.

My point it that Ford has said that the First Editon will be delivered in Q4 2020. So they will have to - and will be able to - produce and deliver in 2020 the number of FEs that moves from per-order to actual order. How many this will be, I do not know. Looking forward to the PCTC-ship - which...

Exciting thought for an American who ordered a premium.

Let me try and make myself clearer: Norway was originally given an allotment, as were other European countries. But when it turned out that Norway placed far more pre-orders than some other European countries did, Norway was given parts of the allotments of these other, less eager, European...

Exciting thought for an American who ordered a premium.

Actually, I do. I was told that Norwegian Ford-dealers received weekly updates from Ford during the weeks before Europe ran out of its allotment. The Norwegian allotment was extended because other European countries didn't fill up theirs. That is probably the case for Holland as well.

Exciting thought for an American who ordered a premium.

I have heard, from a Norwegian sales rep., that the Norwegian number of pre-orderes is about 2000. Order bank is supposed to open shortly after Easter.

Production will much more likely be 1K A DAY when they get started.

Exciting thought for an American who ordered a premium.

Better with a bad strategy (if that's what it is) than to pay millions of dollars in fines.

Any Mach-E questions you want answered?

Thank you! 1. Do they have production concerns related to the Corona-virus? 2. Are they satisfied when it comes to battery supply for 2020-production? 3. What can they say about the amount of cars they will be able to deliver before the end of 2020, and will delivery in 2020 ble exclusively...

    Limited supply of automotive-grade lithium

To the point, and very encouraging!

    Limited supply of automotive-grade lithium

This is all very well, but my point is the raw material needed to make the batteries.

    Limited supply of automotive-grade lithium

This article doesn't say anything about where this or other factories will get their lithium from.

    Limited supply of automotive-grade lithium

"Ford plans to boost sales of full-electric vehicles to a third of overall sales by 2030, up from zero today. Volkswagen, making a major bet on electric vehicles in the wake of its diesel-emissions cheating scandal, says about 15% of sales will be all electric by 2025", according to this...

Ford Reiterates Deliveries of First Edition or Premium Mach-E Expected Late This Year. GT Will Arrive Summer 2021

As I understand it, production of the Mustang Mach-E in 2020 is Limited to 50.000 because of battery supply, meaning that Ford expect to be able to have enough batteries coming in for such an amount of cars. Keep in mind also that Ford will need to sell plenty of this car in Europe this calendar...

Ford Reiterates Deliveries of First Edition or Premium Mach-E Expected Late This Year. GT Will Arrive Summer 2021

Ford's plant in Cologne builds 1150 Fiestas DAILY. If the production of the Mustang Mach-E starts in the summer (July?), 50.000 cars in 2020 should't be a problem.
