Oh I 100% agree. Ford just has to pay dealers for their time. Right now the dealers would have to eat the cost and some of these updates can take hours.
ya I was just talking about the numbered updates that are in general release. The un-numbered updates don’t necessarily go to everyone.

There is nothing wrong with your car. I got my 22 in November and I am up to 3.5.4 as well. Ford pushes updates in batches by when the car was built. They have not pushed any updates past 3.5.4 to any late build 2022s.
It will happen eventually, but there’s nothing you can do until then...
The annoying part of this is I was having this issue on my 2021 Premium, then I upgraded to a 2022 GT and the problem went away because the software was older. One month after I got the 22 it was updated and the problem was back.
The reason I think it’s Bluetooth is that is how the wireless connection is established, and when I’ve had this problem I can’t even get the car to connect to the phone for plain old Bluetooth calling either.

This appears to be an issue with the Bluetooth system in the car, that is what initiates the wireless CarPlay connection before it’s handed off to Wi-Fi.
