This is one of the Many things I don’t like about the new UI

The annoying thing is it’s like that in the original UI and they have never fixed it. Now it’s just a lot more noticeable.

I think someone at Ford pushed the next round of updates.

There is nothing wrong with your car. I got my 22 in November and I am up to 3.5.4 as well. Ford pushes updates in batches by when the car was built. They have not pushed any updates past 3.5.4 to any late build 2022s. It will happen eventually, but there’s nothing you can do until then...

The annoying part of this is I was having this issue on my 2021 Premium, then I upgraded to a 2022 GT and the problem went away because the software was older. One month after I got the 22 it was updated and the problem was back.

Interesting. That is a different behavior than what I’ve experienced with an iPhone. Who knows then.

The reason I think it’s Bluetooth is that is how the wireless connection is established, and when I’ve had this problem I can’t even get the car to connect to the phone for plain old Bluetooth calling either. Next time you are having the problem with android auto try going in to the phone...

This appears to be an issue with the Bluetooth system in the car, that is what initiates the wireless CarPlay connection before it’s handed off to Wi-Fi. Ford is aware of the issue and collecting analytic data from some cars to see why it’s happening. I don’t know why it’s that difficult, it...

No way of knowing, but it won’t make a difference which it grabs first, both are tied to your profile. The only real issue is if 2 people get in the car, both with PAAK setup.
