I keep trying to explain to him how economic substitutes and monopolistic pricing power works, but he doesn’t want to hear about it. He just seems to believe that exponentially growing net income curves will continue on growing exponentially with income asymptotically approaching infinity over...
Normally, I’d buy your premise, BUT we know that they already had less capable software running with tiles that showed information previously, so that doesn’t make sense. We already know the processor (or processors) are capable of that level of multitasking.
My Tesla fanboy friend is already taunting me that this is a desperate move of a dying company because he claims Ford doesn’t have the margins to support such massive price cuts 🙄
This update was incredibly stupid and lazy. They should have left the choice in place so that “camp hate tiles” could hide them forever and just have the entire screen consumed by the radio or whatever, and “camp loves tiles” could have a screen with a lot of the radio, and a series of tiles...

By the way, I do understand where you’re coming from, I’m just not going to put the Ford Motor Company in the same bucket as Alphabet or Meta or TikTok or Twitter or any of the other big tech companies that explicitly monetize YOU and have been repeatedly deliberately careless with personal...
