Now that the 'cards' are fixed at small, they are essentially buttons. So why are there some round buttons across the top of the screen and some square buttons across the bottom? Why not make them consistent and top or bottom?

Job 1 EA here, just got the update installed. Seems Snappier ™. *Still "waiting" on the remote frunk release, but I've pretty much written off any hope of that happening.

😆 Yeah luckily mine hasn't had any bugs so far. And my tonneau is still working (they've had so many problems they've removed them from production) CarPlay is the one thing Ford has over Rivian, but it seems like they're trying to mess that up with the recent reliability issues.

So MY 2024 vehicles will start shipping with this update, and Ford will announce in 2026 that it is delayed until "fall" for previous vehicles 😆

I'd already deleted and re-added home to no luck. Turning Charge Locations off and back on seemed to work.

I still haven't figured out how to stop it from charging to 100%...

Well I'm definitely getting a charge...to 100%. I can't figure out how to get the vehicle to NOT charge to 100% on this update. Deleting and re-adding didn't seem to phase it.

Here's to hoping! It just seems like they are prioritizing revenue streams (Alexa, streaming) and JobX vehicles over adding features that have been promised.

I leave my vehicle unlocked overnight in the garage. On the latest update, the mirrors are unfolded, but pressing the door button does nothing. I have to hit unlock on fob before I can open the door.

I was hoping that with Ford moving their other vehicles to Sync 4, that we would start to see better updates. That has not happened. All we have gotten are either bug fixes or new 'revenue streams' aka yet another subscription. Ford won't even let you bundle hotspot and streaming. Ford is still...

I have a MachE and R1T. Ford gets points for CarPlay and Sirius, but every other aspect of Rivian's software is lightyears ahead on the R1T. Rivian has been regularly issuing monthly software updates, and I can choose when to install from the vehicle or my phone. Whereas Ford will wait 4 months...

I'm shocked Ford is issuing this before winter rather than 2 months into spring!

If you have anything in the Domain Name field on your router settings, that is likely the problem. Unifi networks typically have "localdomain." Deleting that should allow it to connect. Not sure why Ford hasn't addressed it yet.

2.8.3 has finally successfully installed after multiple failures!

I had my HVBJB replaced a couple of months ago, and I have the throttle wide open multiple times a day, so I'd say this checks out. It's a bad day if it's not wide open at some point on my drive 😆

What happens since this happened to me, and I had mine replaced with a HVJB that was built before the cutoff date? 😆
