Admittedly, I am totally tech incompetent. So to me these icons make sense. I see the house as home. At first, I thought the settings icon was snake eyes on dice and it actually made me laugh out loud. Then I looked a little closer and it seems like a great representation for "settings" to...
:)
I think you just wanted to rile up the Charge Police didn't you? :)
Nice....
Yeah. 90% is fine. So is %95. So is 100%. You are fine just so long as you drive the darn thing. I charge to 100% every day. Sometimes more than once per day. Been doing that for almost 2 years and 63k...
:)
I got 49,650 out of mine. Same story though. Had a slow leak from one tire and a trip to San Diego coming up so I replaced them all just to be safe. Had 5/32" of tread left when they came off. Honorary Chauffeur's License for me? :)
I hadn't noticed. I normally kept the row of tiles minimized anyway. Mainly because I like to see all the Sirius XM radio presets and the large tiles seemed like a waste of space anyway. But yeah, if people liked the larger tiles at the expense of losing a little real estate from the main...
I received an update notice about a week ago. Don't remember the number or the details but I did accept it. A drive or two later, the whole screen changed r something different. Many things are now in a different place but it isn't too hard to find them again. Heated seat controls are...
I think you are fine. You don't have to call the OTA team. Just go about your normal business. Not worth worrying about something like that in my opinion....
I decided to lift the negative cable for the LVB from the chassis. Waited a bit and then re-connected. Charge Locations and Departure Times now works again.
Not that I am aware of. You can always press the power button (center of the volume dial).
That is what I do when I am not quite ready to open the door yet want the audio system to shut down.
There may be a setting though. Not sure. ???
So that begs the question....Why does the software need to be updated so often?
It worked fine when new and worked well for 18-20 months. Doesn't work as well now. Are you saying if the updates hadn't been installed then the car would work as well as when new? If that is the case....then...
Not sure I agree.
A clear safety issue is one thing. Wheels flying off, brake malfunction, headlights not working etc. That makes sense.
Convenience features not working doesn't seem like a safety issue. We are still able to drive the vehicle safely just like any vehicle that doesn't have...
That has been my experience as well. We have probably owned over a hundred Ford vehicles and their software almost always lasts longer than the hardware. This is the first vehicle that has done the opposite.
To be fair......the software for the critical systems must be different than the...
Wait until summer. I can't get any useful data during the winter because my baseline readings were taken when ambient temps were 90F or greater. So far there has been no observable degradation but that only means I haven't yet observed it. There should be some but apparently it hasn't...
