There is no OEM hitch here. Everyone is installing aftermarket (draw-tite, curt, ecohitch, etc). U haul will do a great job. Yes, you will have to cut your bumper, but everyone w a Mach e in the US who has a hitch installed has to do this. I dodnt get wiring installed as mine is for a ski...
U haul is a very dependable place to get a hitch installed. I think they may install the most hitches in the US. I got the same hitch installed there and it was easy. If you are installing just for a bike rack you won't need the other stuff
Another question - does anyone know how the "EV Instant Energy Consumption" in car scanner is actually measured? Will this value also take into account consumption of the HVAC system? In real time, I noticed a lot of volatility in the metric so Im not sure how it arrives at its "per mile"...
Got it. I was hoping to have something like that for road trips, so wanted to see a live 10 and/or 30 min rolling average on the app itself. Do any of the other scanner apps have that capability?
All - I'm new to carscanner but installed the app when my OBD2 reader came in today. I noticed that you can get the instantaneous mi/KWh on the app. I also see that category can also display the min , max, and average for your whole drive session.
My question - is there a way to have another...
Yes was thinking the same thing. I'm going to get a piece wide enough so I can drill holes in it that line up with the bolts that secure the under cover and bumper. Ease of removal is irrelevant in my case as I don't have the hidden hitch
I have the exact hitch installed and am looking at solutions - this idea is great. It would amazing if your cover solution could be scanned for a 3d printer!!
This may be a dumb question but I will ask it anyway, as I'm having trouble really understanding what conceptually what having a lower battery capacity at cold temps actually means.
Let's say you were to charge your car to 100 percent in a heated garage at 50 degrees ambient temp. then you...
I use it all the time. We do a lot of outdoor trips so helps w all the extra gear. This ski season has been great - I've fit two adult and two smaller kids ski boots, three helmets, goggles, gloves, in there - leaves plenty of room in the trunk for suitcases, jackets, and my wifes tendency to...
Awesome thanks. I already have the dotted version so looking to move to smooth. If you can confirm smooth ( you can wire it to a power source and it will light up), I'd be interested.
I hooked mine up to something like this and it lit up.
